“If you're in Valencia, stay here”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 January 2014

We stayed here in November. Its not cheap,(though not silly expensive) but it is a proper 5 star hotel, On the beach, great outdoor patios, great pools, indoor and outdoor,
Super rooms , attendant staff,
Loads of bars a short walk,
It's a beautiful looking hotel too
You won't find better in Valencia,

Stayed here just after Christmas, we were staying down in Calpe and left the kids with Grandparents as we wanted some relaxation in a good hotel. Booked through secret escapes and got a great deal. The Hotel was clean, staff very friendly and welcoming. We were given welcome drinks through our deal which was a great. The rooms were clean and well appointed.
One down side was that you could not use the Spa, steam or Sauna without paying an extra 21 Euros each which we thought was rather cheeky. You could only use the indoor pool, but no changing facilities.
Breakfast was excellent, everything you could imagine, was available, even a glass of Cava if you so wished.
Would definitely stay again

A really nice hotel situated on the sandy beautiful beach, lovely gardens ,excellent large pool and good spa. This hotel is a short taxi ride from the city center or other major attractions and has a stretch of restaurants specialising in Paella within a 3 min walk . Only downside is the price of food and drink in the hotel.

Room Tip: Choose a room facing the gardens

We spent four days at this hotel in early December. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with (multilingual). Our room had a balcony that overlooked the beach/ ocean with an amazing view. In addition, the back of the property is beautifully maintained and has lighted fountains at night. Our only "complaint" was that it is a little far from the other attractions of the city (ex. the City of Arts & Sciences, downtown Valencia, etc.), so plan on spending about €15 round trip for each excursion away from the hotel. The good news is that there are a fair amount of restaurants within walking distance on the boardwalk, so you don't have to take a taxi if you don't feel like eating at the hotel. Also, while it was cool in December (60's F during the day), we preferred the beach view to the noise/skyline of downtown and would stay there again.

The staff in this hotel are great. So helpful, friendly and efficient.
The room was really nice, very big and lots of nice touches like robes, slippers, toothbrushes and razors. TV and DVD system with dock was great. The location is great for the beach and a gate opens straight onto it. Only slight downside is the cost of breakfast and room service but it is five star so to be expected.
Will definitely be back on our next trip to Valencia.

Ended our 21 days on and off the east coast of Spain here for 4 days. Perfect wind down. Service is outstanding. Room with balcony overlooking the sea recommended. Adult pool and lawn area allows for undisturbed rest. September is warm and balmy. There is much to see in Valencia, old and new, all close by. Hotel restaurant is high end.

We have just returned from our weekend trip to Valencia, our stay being at the 5 star Las Arenas on the sea front. Brilliant double room with awesome sea view, quality food ,amazing service and hospitality all round. Not too far from the tram stops either, highly recommended!

Room Tip: book the sea facing rooms, well worth the money.
