We stayed here for 3 nights in Nov 2013. It was a great hotel which I highly recommend. It's in the heart of the city an you have hundreds of restaurants within walking distance. To get to the beach you just need to catch the number 19 bus from across the road and you will be at the beach in 15mins. The metro stop is also across the road and a direct train gets you there from the airport. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful, they would book restaurants for us every night and Sergio let us shower back at the hotel after we had checked out to freshen up before out flight home. Overall I would highly recommend Hotel Zenit.

Room Tip: Try to get a room at the front of the hotel for nice views.

easy to find with parking garage . small rooms but good beds and bathrooms. tad on the noisy side but worth it for the location by the Train station and amazing view over old town. Rate was 72 E + breakfast 8 and garage 20. all fair. Staff very helpful and attentive. large selection at breakfast.a good base to Centre of valencia. Would stay there again happily. Ask for higher floors.

Stayed 5 nights at this hotel. The position of the hotel was excellent right opposite the north railway station, saying this it was very quiet and you could hear nothing in your room which was sound proofed, we didn't even hear next door at all. It was near the bull ring and was only a 5 min walk to the start of the old town and plenty of bars and restaurants. We couldn't believe the amount of restaurants in the centre all with al fresco dining as it was still 25 degrees in the evening.
Reception staff were really friendly even helping us to print out our return boarding ticket when we had a problem with it.
we had a Juliet balcony with doors that opened which we liked. the room wasn't large but had everything we needed (except tea/coffee making facilities) and was clean.
We had breakfast which was satisfactory with limited cooked food such as eggs and bacon buffet style and plenty of fresh juice, croissants, pain au chocolate, breads, ham ,cheeses, cereal and fresh fruit.
I would definitely stay here again.

This is my second time staying in a hotel zenit and I find them to be very good hotels. I liked the location, close to the old city but you can also get off the beaten path. Our room had a fabulous deck which was a great way to view the city at night.

location is great, near the bull fighting ring and only about 10minutes to all the main attractions.
staff very helpful - everything from dinner recommendations, walking tours and info about the city (free walking tour, pillow fights in the plaza etc) they are knowledgeable and happy to share the info.
Rooms had big windows that opened up which was great for letting in some fresh air. Otherwise the rooms were not big but not small. bed was very comfy!
also had limited parking - we had a motorbike and could have parked on the street like in other cities/towns but there was not much parking available and the rate was very reasonable for the moto.

We choose this hotel because it was right across from the Valencia Nord train station. As we only had a full day and a half to visit this city, we thought it practical to be close to our "in and out" point.
Outside the hotel and around the station it is busy but, you hear nothing if your windows are closed. Room 109 was a very good size with safe and minibar, the AC was quiet and efficient. The hotel as an updated modern clean design. There is a rooftop eating area and restaurant, but we did eat or have b-fast there. I did however peek into the B-fast room to see what looked to be a good selection. They also have parking for those arriving by car.
The reception staff was professional, a tad stiff.
Wifi slow when working.
If you want central location walking distance to the action, this is it.
