Valencia oceanografic was such a great experience. It took half a day for visiting the entire structure. It is divided in geographical areas, such as artic, polar, ocean, etc. Particular interesting was entering into a tank that covers the entire room; in this tank, FInally, walruses and seals are spectacular.
I suggest not to buy presales tickets from tourist offices but to wait for discount you can obtain in supermarkets and McDonalds.

No question that expense has not been spared in putting together this elaborate complex. The design of the building is very futuristic and yet it does not look like it will date so full marks to the architect as it blends in with old World Valencia. I like the fact the animals all have large playgrounds, Im sure this leads to them being happier. Congratualtions Valencia an outstanding facility which will attract millions of visitors.

The place is amazing, modern; but of course very new. Verry spacious... But can say - not a lot of animal specias - compared with a big place. Prefere Barcelonas aquarium. Loved a dolphen show,
I misssed conection from the centre - 20min walk from metro!

We had a day in Valencia and decided to head for the City Of Arts and Sciences and after walking round this amazing area with spectacular architecture and stunning views we elected to go to the Oceanogrific Centre and while it was not cheap at 26 euro each for an adult ticket - it was amazing value and round every corner there were stunning view and close up view and experiences of everything from tiny sea horsea and sea dragons to groups of sharks you almost felt you where in there with them. There was lots of different sections, mostly underground, along with a brilliant aviary and dolphin shows, plus restaurants, coffee shops and vendors near every major attraction, we loved it and would imagine all ages would enjoy this attraction.
It was very well laid out well run and queuing was at a minimum, highly recommended if you are in Valencia, we took a taxi from the port and it was 6 euro. There are lost of other things to do in this area including a hugh i-Max theatre, walks and attractions to stroll round and not far from the city centre. we had a gfnatstic time and one of the real highlights of our visit.

It was my first visit to an aquarium, and it was certainly worthy. We went with our two toddlers (1yo and 3yo) who enjoyed watching the fishes at first but logically got tired, as the whole visit easily takes over 3 hours. Unfortunately we couldn't watch the dolphins, since the dolphinarium got complete 15 minutes before the show started at the 14:15 session.
