“2000 years of history”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 April 2014

the remains of the ancient roman city were amazing. There were very large ques to get in to most of the ruins but being British,we`re used to ques!To think that these buildings have been standing for all those centuries is mind boggling. The skills that the builders had back then would be difficult to match in today's world. The romans were truly an incredible civilisation.

“Historical Wow”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 April 2014

Apart from the visual wow that Ancient Rome gives, the discovery of the historical facts are almost a double dip.

We bumped into a guide sales person and booked through them. It was worth every penny because they have an abundance of knowledge and talk you through the walk around. You also get to jump all of the queues too!

Make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes!

“A must do in Roma”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 April 2014

Do not miss visiting the ancient Roman ruins, this is a really good visit and you should go with a tour guide as they are very knowledgable and put everything into perspective. Ours had a book of pictures showing the ruins now and another showing how they would originally have looked, it would be nice to have some small scale models showing how opulent the buildings were so you can visualise it.

Overall, a great visit and very humbling in places.

“Ancient History before your eyes”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 April 2014

Here you get the thrill of seeing sights from the ancient world straight from your high school history books. The coliseum, forum and other sights can be enhanced by a tour guide. It is always good to know what you are seeing.
