1 review “Enjoyable, quiet location with superb views”
We booked the house due to a family wedding in Pietranico. The house provided us with everything we needed, but you need a car to get to most places. The village has a small shop where basics can be purchased, but the main shopping is 7km away in Torre (hence need for car).
It's a friendly village to visit and we were made very welcome.
Whilst it is quite remote, it does provide access to very beautiful parts of Italy. We also visited Pompei and Vesuvius, which was enjoyable despite the 4 hour drive each way. Rome is only 2 hours away.
Pescara airport is 45 minutes away and I would suggest finding the property in the daylight. I drove from the UK and then picked up the rest of my family at the airport.
