Diamond Willow Artisan Retreat
Reviewed 14 May 2013

I was lucky enough to experience many of Diamond Willow's activities - a yoga class, painting class (Karin Huebhold is the paint whisperer who can turn anyone into a watercolor artist), and a house concert. Loved the setting and the intimate, homey feel of the building. Pizza in the outdoor oven made for a fun supper (everyone in our group got to make their own).

The rooms are comfortable - many are single beds for people attending retreats and events but there are double or queen rooms suitable for a romantic weekend.

We booked the Wild rose room at the DW artisan retreat as a way to visit the Calgary. The owners were so knowledgeable of the area and really helped us with our travels around the area. The retreat is neat, clean, modern, and in a beautiful location in the foothills sw of Calgary and the breakfasts were a wonderful bonus.
