I spent four weeks in this house and found it very suitable for family, including grandchildren ages seven to twelve, and friends. The house was conveniently located for day trips around Provence and suited our needs very well. We enjoyed the house's very old details, especially the stone arches. The spiral stone staircase would be a challenge for anyone with physical infirmities. The lack of air conditioning was not an issue which is amazing considering we were there in the hottest period from mid-July to mid-August. We were well supported by Yvette who is an amazing person and very friendly and charming. She is a major asset for anyone who rents this house. I miss seeing her as well as the lovely, gentile lady who lived next door. There were several good restaurants in the town but we tended to eat a large mid-day dinner out and a smaller dinner on the roof terrace at night. The morning croissants from the bakery about a block away were wonderful and could not be successfully duplicated in the US. The parking was a very short walk and not a problem. The local market was lots of fun and provided a wide array of clothing, goods and, best of all, food. We enjoyed the wine, food and sights in Provence but mostly loved the very kind people. I would return to this home any time and recommend it to others.
