“Best Choice for Potenza!”
Reviewed 17 June 2013

This is your best option, if you're traveling to Potenza. The location is excellent - near the centro storico and Via Pretoria. You're also within walking distance from the Scala Mobile (escalators). Staff members are quite professional and very helpful. Rooms are clean and well appointed. WiFi connections weren't great, but this is a top quality hotel for the area. Restaurant staff are also very professional and accommodating. I travel to Potenza fairly regularly, and this is the only Potenza hotel I would recommend!

An not too bad hotel if you travel from one side to the other side of south Italy and you need a place somewhere in the middle.
For me this is not a 4 star hotel but 3 star.
The,although clean, rooms are very small as is the bathroom. You have to negotiate were to put your luggage ( 2 small suitcases). We had a room with a beautiful mountain view. It was very quiet.
Staff was functional nothing more nothing less. Breakfast nothing to write about.
it is a bit difficult to find if you have no GPS.
The town had suffered from an earthquake (some 25 years ago) which destroyed almost the whole city but they re-constructed it nicely: I liked their shopping main street.
The old city is on a high hill( hence the beautiful view from our hotel room).

Room Tip: Take a mountain view room! The front rooms have no view at all there you see a dull street with lots...

On a business trip some of our party stayed in a different hotel but we certainly had the best hotel. Food in the hotel restaurant was very good although bit pricey. The rooms were clean and of a reasonable size. The housekeeping was very good. The bar staff seemed a bit cool but mellowed as the week went on. The female receptionist was formidable but very efficent. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice but don't expect any morning smiles from the rather dour manager.

Room Tip: We were on second floor and slept well.

This hotel is a bit hard to find if you are driving, but once we found it we liked it just fine. We especially liked the location, and the service was very good.

This is one of the best hotels in town. It is surely not a luxury property, but is conveniently located downtown and has a decent service.

Room Tip: ask for room with panoramic view.

The hotel location is perfect, the breakfast buffet is plentiful and provides excellent fresh food. The views over the Basento valley are stunning so be sure to ask a room on the South side. The rooms are small but the double bed is huge and the bathroom very clean. A solid lodging experience.

I went in Potenza for business. The town is not touristic but the hotel is comfortable enough with a good ratio convenience/price.

Wi-fi available with extra-charge.
