“Sublime food, wonderful service”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

I have visited this great restaurant many times over the years. The young team that run it are fabulous, they try hard and deliver, every time. It's great to see 20 something year olds so passionate. Try the old recipe of Fish Soup, its interesting and certainly not a soup. This place is all about the freshest seafood and the nicest atmosphere, matched to an excellent wine list that focuses on great Campagne wines.

Ask for a table by the railing, on the outside dining area, overlooking the village.

“Hard to find but worth for it”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

It faces to the main street of the old town, very close to Duomo.
But it is on the 1st floor so that it's hard to find from the ground.
When my wife and I explored narrow path, we found its sign, got into it, and made reservation at 7:30PM. We ordered antipasto(grilled mozzarella and Palma ham), famous lemon risotto with shrimp and assorted seafood deep fry with black and white batter. All were quite impressive and satisfying. As digestif, limoncello was served from the house.

“Traditional, well cooked Italian food in a lovely setting”
Reviewed 10 May 2014

We went for lunch and the service, setting and food were all very good. The food is fresh and very traditional focussing on the ingredients from the local area - seafood, lemons etc. Certainly worth a visit on a sunny day when you can sit outside and soak up the atmosphere from the street below.

“Did not disappoint however make a reservation!!!”
Reviewed 30 April 2014 via mobile

We dined in Da Gemma based purely on the reviews read here on TripAdvisor and I have to say it was an excellent experience. Da Gemma lived up to all the great reviews written. One point of interest for those considering it, make a reservation!!! We had booked and were treated brilliantly, however two groups who walked in off the street and were seated got up and left again as they were waiting far two long to be served. Half an hour in one case without even having a drink brought to them or an order taken. We decided to go for the traditional menu, a six course tasting menu that was superb. The dessert was not to our taste, which is part of the excitement of trying a tasting menu, but everything else was superb. The shellfish casserole was delicious. I would highly recommend Da Gemma.
