“A very Italian Sunday Lunch”
Reviewed 23 October 2013

This bustling eatery is really good for their local cuisine and local wines.
If you prefer a quieter lunch experience then visit during the week.
Home made pasta buonadonna is fantastic as is the Genevace and Vongole.
A special treat is anchovies layered with smoked mozzarella, breadcrumps and then deep fried. We love the Proscutto and melon antipasta.
Well worth a walk up from Amalfi via the Scoula media at the top of the High Street.

“Lovely food, lovely people & lovely views”
Reviewed 25 November 2010

Whenever we visit Amalfi we stay at the Excellent Hotel Excelsior and have our first real Italian Experience at Trattoria Rispoli.
After an overnight journey there is nothing more relaxing than to walk from the hotel to the Village of Pogerola and meet up with our friends Marina & Enza at their Restaurant.
A plate of Antipasta followed by their wonderful homemade Pasta, then Frittura di pesce, Patate Fritte and Insalata Mista and then Pera Ricotta is the best meal we could wish for.
A litre of the Red Wine, or their delicious White which is so refreshing coming straight from the vines. To us this is better than anything you get from a bottle
A lemoncello a Cafe and then a little snooze overlooking the Dragon Valley and Ravello. absolutely PEEEEERFECT.
