The dedicated staff are warm and caring, accommodating, helpful, efficient and very professional. Bonus; they speak English very well which is a big help. There was a delicious and varied breakfast buffet each morning as well as a bar in the lobby at which some of the best cappucinos & tea are made!
The rooms are simple, but very clean and nice. Housekeeping is some of the best, most comprehensive service I have ever enjoyed, and I travel a *lot*.

The hotel is an easy and enjoyable 10 minute walk from the heart of Amalfi; I'd recommend walking, as renting a vehicle/motorbike with an intention to drive on the Amalfi coast is suicidal at best. A taxi will cost you e10 to get into town. There is a SITA bus stop right outside the hotel, and SITA bus tickets can be bought at most bars along the route. The blue SITA bus runs regularly all up and down the coast, from Sorrento clear to Salerno and is a safe, clean, comfortable ride with unparalleled scenery.

There is a main deck on the 4th floor of the hotel, overlooking the sea and the coastal view of Amalfi, as well as several small decks on each floor and on the sea facing rooms (those are privacy decks). It is a gorgeous view and a relaxing place to spend some time, particularly in the early morning or at sunset, and it's jaw dropping when there is a big moon coming up over the horizon of the sea toward the hotel.

Two notes; the elevator at this hotel is very small but reliable. The showers are also small but serviceable and quite clean. These are such inconsequential items that it is hardly worth while to mention them.

I will absolutely stay here next time I am in Amalfi.

Room Tip: Anything from the 4th floor or higher will get you a great view and a little more distance from the...

my wife and myself went to the amalfi coast as she's always wanted to go, so as a present for her 40th birthday i booked the dei cavalieri hotel, from the moment we set foot to the moment we left the hotel we were treated fantastically, all the staff were lovely, but a special mention has to go to simone and georgeio who looked after us and nothing was to much trouble for them both, the views from our room (605) were spectacular to say the least,on the morning of my wife's birthday the hotel brought her up a bottle of champagne and the biggest rose i've ever seen.
my wife was over the moon as i said nothing was to much trouble, try this hotel and you'll see for yourself what we and so many others are talking about.the only thing i would say is the walk down to amalfi town would be a bit to much for anyone with difficulties in walking but lovely views

Stayed there in early November for 5 days with a small kid. Rooms were rather basic but very clean (and very well cleaned during the day). There were very few quests (as the season was just over), so I don't know how would it have been during the peak. The views were stunning, even if our room was not directly facing the sea. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, giving recommendations and tips for sightseeing and eating. (I also had to work late at nights in the lobby area, where the (free) internet was, and they brought me coffee, water, bread - for free :-) The distance from Amalfi was ok, perhaps a 15 min walk. Having a little exercise after a heavy dinner downtown was a perfect way to get a nice sleep. Taxi from downtown 10 eur.

Room Tip: Even the side rooms, facing Amalfi, and not the sea, were with ok views.

We decided on Italy for our honeymoon. We rented a little Fiat Panda and drove all over the country. We stayed at Dei Cavalieri on the Amalfi coast for two days. We didn't pre book anything. This place was within our budget and the view was spectacular. A very nice find! We had a nice balcony and our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast that they provided was good and the staff very helpful to us. I would highly recommend this location. It was close to walk down to where all the restaurants and shops are too. Very beautiful area! Approximately 210 euro for two nights. Well worth the price!!

We really enjoyed our stay here, so much that we extended from 3 nights to 5 nights.

The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of amalfi. There are stunning views from the terrace and room balconys and the rooms are clean and spacious.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and provided useful advice on exploring the area.

The room was nice with old wood furniture not the standard IKEA. The breakfast buffet had a really good variety too. The location was probably a 10 min walk into town (going back is uphill) but very worth it. The seaside views from our room were amazing. There is also an area with sun loungers off one of the top floors which have amazing views of the ocean and is very relaxing. Free parking in their off road garage is also a bonus.

Room Tip: The walk from town to the hotel is a good 10 minute walk uphill, there is a footpath all the way but...

An excellent hotel- the views were spectacular from the roof top terrace! You must arrive to Amafi by boat - what a sight!!! The hotel is very near a beach away from central Amalfi which in our view was the local's beach - well worth a visit. The hotel provided us with a shuttle service down to Amalfi but we thoroughly enjoyed the walk (not to be done with luggage). A stay in this hotel is a definite must and breakfast was AMAZING!! Also - Capri is a great trip to do from Amalfi.
