The hotel was renovated a few years ago and is still very smart and tastefully furnished. Our rooms were cool and quiet and the beds large and comfortable. The bathrooms are very modern and the massage showers quite invigorating! Breakfast's not bad - yoghurts, cereal, meat and cheese, tinned fruit, croissants and pastries, toast etc - but the sunny terrace overlooking the sea makes it delightful. There's free wifi throughout the hotel. Being right on the sea front it's just opposite the bus stop for Ravello and not much further from where the other buses and coaches park and from the harbour with boat services to Positano, Capri etc. There are plenty of good restaurants within a few minutes walk and Amalfi's splendid Duomo is just round the corner. Unless you need a swimming pool I reckon it's the ideal place from which to explore the Amalfi coast.

My daughter and i stayed here for 6 nights in April 2012. Very well positioned and right on the beach front. Lovely balcony area to have late afternoon drink. I would recommend this Hotel and town over Positano. The only downside was the guys on the front desk - not rude or anything but just not that helpful or interested. Staff in the dining area and bar were very good, cheerful and helpful.

Room Tip: Dont expect lots of help or ifo from front desk staff.

It was a perfect experience for me when I first open my window and see the perfect uninterrupted seaview. Reception was OK and helpful. Breakfast was very satisfactory and of course you eat your breakfast again in a wonderful sea scenery. The price of the room was very good compared to the other hotels in Amalfi coast which ask more but offer less. The hotel is in the best available location. Only if you want a very silent hotel, this should not be your first choice as this one is right in the middle of everything.

Room Tip: Ask a room which has a sea view. Room number 6 does. Although upper rooms should be less noisy as th...

After walking from our hotel in Sorrento to the town and walking around Rome this hotel offered a nice change. Located right in the centre of Amalfi the location was fantastic. The rooms was large, clean and sparsley decorated but that was Ok as it was done simply and was very clean. Take a right out of the front door, another right and your in the back streets of Amalfi where all the shopes and restaurants are located. The beach is right across the street and whatever you do take a day and enjoy the beach. Breakfast Ok but not great but the location makes up for any shortcomings.

If you are looking for a hotel in Amalfi - this is it! Not only is the hotel is in the perfect location but it is clean and the staff is friendly and willing to help.
We got off the bus and simply looked across the street to find our hotel. Not only is it across the street from the bus and the port, but the beach is there too and it is around the corner from the center of town. We were able to spend the day at the beach across the street or sightsee in Amalfi and Postiano as well as Ravello, since Amalfi is right in between.
The breakfast served in the morning on the patio overlooking the water. Cereal and fruit is served as well as traditional meats, cheeses and bread. Most importantly - the coffee is good!
As for the rooms, they are CLEAN and the bathrooms are updated and spacious.
Overall, this was our favorite part of our Amalfi coast trip. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Room Tip: get a balcony - you'll be happy you did.
