“Beautiful Quiet Holiday!!”
Reviewed 1 July 2013

Beautiful guest house set in Palinuro’s hills opposite the sea. We had a lovely welcoming from the hosts and loved our stay. The food was traditional and delicious. The room was spacious and the view from our balcony was mind blowing. The Agriturismo is far from the summer confusion but, at the same time, it is a 5 minute drive from the beach and the village’s center. I have recommended it to all my friends. Thanks for our lovely holiday!!

This agriturismo, perched on a hill, has large rooms with a a wonderful view of the sea. We decided to visit the region off season before Easter and found ourselves chilled to the bone by the dampness of the room and the lack of water pressure in the shower. The mattresses (changed from one night to the next) were one of the most uncomfortable experiences we've had. As seasoned travelers who have visited and worked in over 40 countries, we always seek to adapt to different cultures and behaviour patterns but it was quasi impossible to establish any kind of contact with our hosts who blissfully ignored our presence. When we inquired about where to dine and for a map of the area, we seemed to be asking for the moon. It is truly a shame that people who want to run a tourism activity do not make the effort to make you feel welcome and in a way at home away from home.

We are an English-Italian family run business who after many years of experience of working with cilents from all over the world, from many walks of life would like to apologise for any unhappiness experienced by our guests. We take pride in our property and we can only suggest that the problems that were indicated in this review came about because of misunderstanding and bad communication. .We honestly try to solve all problems personally . Our attitude towards our cilents is always respectful, we offer information if it is required or we leave our guests to their own devices. Our business is small and generally our guests return, often bringing friends as new cilents. We have a pleasant and comfortable home, we don't pretend its a 4 star hotel and it must not be forgotten that we are in the National Park of Cilento with all its beauty and simplicity.
