This is a great hotel in the perfect location for sightseeing, right in the centre of town and close to the train and bus station. It has a lovely garden and a small but very nice pool. It is very quiet(surprising lack of traffic noise). It is spotless throughout, our room had wonderfully efficient air conditioning and a free fridge. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Just one issue - the food. Breakfast was fine, the usual help yourself continental stuff. However we stayed half board and the evening meals were awful. Cold, greasy and boring. Obvious penny pinching by the management. One evening I had pizza, the crust was hard and burnt and the topping consisted of a thin scraping of tomato sauce and nothing else. The bread-crumbed parmesan escalope was the final straw, after that we ate out. It is a shame because overall this is a great hotel and I would go back but only bed and breakfast.

If you want good location right in the centre of Sorrento this hotel ticks all the boxes.Only a 3 star and this is reflected on the quality of the hotel. We had a double room overlooking the gardens and views of Bay of Naples and Vesuvius the rooms were spotless free safe and fridge went half board decent continental buffet breakfast and waiter served dinner starters were better than main courses, which were always luke warm, the help yourself vegetables and salty French fries were'nt much better but for the price no real complaints.Swimming pool only small but again like the rest of the hotel very clean, not many sun loungers but plenty of deck chairs which were more comfortable.Did Pompei on the train and Capri(very expensive 8 euros for a medium sized beer)saved the best till the last with a Mercedes complete with excellent Italian driver to do the Amalfi drive, the only way if you can afford it.

Visited here during the month of June with family to attend a wedding! As there were a few of us we all had different rooms!

After a long day of traveling we arrived in sorrento by coach (from Naples airport - €10 each). The hotel is just around the corner from the bus station and very easy to find! Check in was easy and straight forwards with no problems! Rooms were clean and of decent size.

After reading reviews on here we read about a back door that opens onto the main road, this is true (opens out next to the swatch shop), over the road to this entrance to the left is a supermarket, and go right and you find the main square. Everything is less than 5minutes walk away.

Breakfast here is great - try the scrambled egg, it's delicious. Great choice of toast, croissants bread rolls, ham cheese and cereals aswell as fruits and jams! Options of juices and tea and coffee.

Rooms cleaned and beds maid daily made a pleasant experience - staff are friendly. We visited during an exceptionally hot period and the rooms remained cool with the air conditoning.

Pool area is great but get there early to get a good sun lounger. All in all a very pleasant stay and would return again.

Sorrento in general: lovely place and not expensive as originally thought. Av. €5 for a beer, main course vary between €10-20 but there are many options! People are friendly and many bars/restaurants provide nibbles such as nuts and bread whilst having drinks.

Very pleasant stay, the good points are the bedrooms, ours was kept very clean and had a lovely view of the gardens and Vesuvius. Also excellent air conditioning which was much appreciated in temperatures of 34 to 38. The pool is pleasant and well shaded which again was appreciated in such hot weather. Another advantage was the small garden which again was well shaded and quiet. Excellent location for walking into Piazza Tasso and to the port. Another plus was that it was quiet at night even though near to the town square. Downpoints are the food, the breakfast was adequate but the evening meal disappointed. Staff all friendly and helpful.
