While on a cruise in Sorrento, we had the lunch special here. Lunch consisted of a coal fired pizza (12 inches), delicious salad to share. It was as big as a large dinner plate and a can of Coke for $10 Euro. I bought a small bottle of mineral water for $1.50 Euro but didn't have to... The Coke split would have been enough. Great food, wonderful service and super clean restrooms! Couldn't as for more!

This restaurant typifies the nondescript tourist trap restaurants of Sorrento. A cheap meal with cheap drinks that doesn't offer impresssive service but gets you in and out quickly and efficiently. The pizza was far from the best, the lasagna was ok, but given that the whole meal cost about €20 this was perhaps to be expected. There are other budget restaurants in Sorrento that are far better, but this remains a reasonable option.

I also fail to understand the poor reviews of this restaurant. We entered on a cool evening in early May and were lucky to find a table.Service was quick, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.I agree the Maitre'd probably holds all together here. The owner walks thru with a grouchy face , and then walks thru the restaurant opposite which he might own as well.
Our Ravioli (one ricotta, one beef) was excellent washed down with local Aglianico red wine.
Bread , 2 mains, 3 wines for 34.50.
We enjoyed it so much we returned the following night for an excellent steak and salad.
Undoubtedly some people were badly treated here, but not us.Can definitely recommend.

I am at a loss to understand how some of these reviews are excellent. We had the most inedible meal here. Chicken in mushroom sauce was so hard it couldn't even be cut and the fish was as thin as paper. The waiter couldn't care less and didn't even apologise or offer complimentary coffee/drink or anything. The only good thing this restaurant has going for it is the location.

Lovely friendly service and very good freshly prepared food at excellent prices. My husband and I shared a pizza as we couldn't manage a whole one, it cost around 7 euros about £5.60 and I promise you once you have had an Italian pizza you won't want one of those churned out by the high street chains in Britain.
As it was raining we sat in the restaurant - the décor is delightful and the toilets were a work of art in their own right, and no paper hand towels either - a fresh linen towel for each person.
Sedil Dominova also has a duty free liquor shop which has very competitive prices.
