Spent 5 nights over extended New Years trip to Italy. We arrived from Rome via train,a little interesting. The hotel evidently is rather new. It sits next to a square which over looks the sea.
The property sits on a corner with nice grounds on one side and the entrance and various terraces on the other. The lobby is quite large and open, unlike many Sorrento hotels. Staff
were professional, helpful and somewhat friendly. I believe we were upgraded, as we had a corner suite with terrace overlooking the sea. Typical mediterranean decor, white stucco walls, terracotta floors and Spanish red tile roofs, very classic. Roof top bar was not open; however, I imagine it rocks during the summer. Pool was sufficient size, decent space for sunbathers, incredible views of the sea, and a pool bar to boot. Breakfast was ample, diverse, and excellent quality. This from a guy who doesn't like breakfast. Location is just on the border of the pedestrian zone, so no worries at night about noise. Be sure to go to Marina Grande, just down and to the left of the hotel, lots of steps and curves; however, your reward is a quaint little fishing village with great seafood restaurants.More
