My wife and I just came back from Sorrento and we can't stop thinking about this special place. We went there last Monday for the first time after brief online research and ordered tomatoes and onions, fried calamari, anchovy, and risoto delfino with a bottle of local white wine. We immediately fell in love with the food so much it almost made us forget about the magnificent view surrounding us.
We went back to Delfino on our last night to try other dish.
The pasta - I forgot the exact name - Calamarata with seafood ???!!! All ingredients were very fresh with the right amount of sauce. It was probably the best pasta dish I ever had in my life.
The friendly hospitality and warm smiles extended by the owners and the waiters will remain in my memory for a long time along with the bottle of Campagnia wine they gave us when we were leaving.
Delfino is located at the end of Marina Grande. But, however you get there, by bus or on foot, get there when you're in Sorrento.
