“Very good coffee and breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 April 2013 via mobile

Very pleasant staf and owners. Very good breakfast and coffee and the interior is special. Live music in the evenings almost weekly. Opening times could be a little bit regular. Service is one of the best.

“Return visit!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 August 2012

I went to Sorrento in August and this time stayed in the town,so was within walking distance of The Square. The staff are so friendly and the entertainment on the Saturday evening was excellent. The little book shop is still there ,managed by the lovely Tizianno.
I did not eat there, but this was because I had half board at the hotel.
The meals I saw being served looked excellent and the waiters are so helpful and friendly even if you're only having drinks.
Lovely place......I'll be back........

“Must try the gnoochi!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2012

The gnocchi was so good we had it two nights in a row! Gnocchi is a specialty of Sorrento and this was the very best. The sauce is awesome. It is a great place to people watch and we spent a good deal of time just watching the young people arrive on their scooters, interact, see who was watching and move on. The waiter was a very thoughtful young American. Nice service, great food. Not expensive at all (just got the VISA bill and it was so reasonable!). The ONLY drawback is the smoke drifting past from other tables, but that's Italy for you.

“Very Cool place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2012

What a funky and modern little place. We went there for lunch on one occassion then drinks many more times. I ate grilled prawns which were excellent. There is an extensive drinks list and we worked our way through many delicious cocktails.

The staff were very friendly and the (handsome) American waiter chatted away to customers in Italian, English and German. He also joked with my husband when we returned after a previous day working through the whiskey list - "No Scotch today?!"

The decor was great with numerous cool pictures styled around the figures for male and female in lots of weird and wonderful poses (mexican stand off, stage diving) Overall a cool place for a drink and some food.

“Sweet spot Square in Piazza Lauro”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 July 2012

Happened upon Square Cafe by chance. Glad I did. Great place to hang and chill and surf with a coffee and dessert. free wi fi in a casual atmosphere. It's where the locals go to hang out in Sorrento
