The staff were delightful and the room was modern, bright, comfortable and immaculately kept. The private amenities were first class. One step onto the balcony provided a view of the main piazza in front of the hotel with a view through to the sea. Location is superb with all you need in an easy walk, suchas boats to Capri, or access to the Amalfi coast for day trippers and of course there is a selection of very good restaurants in the lovely piazza out front. We loved our short stay there and highly recommend it.

I stayed here for three nights with my daughter at the beginning of this month. My room was one of the deluxe rooms and had a separate living room and a huge balcony/terrace with sun loungers and patio furniture. The whole hotel was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast wasn't to my taste but it was well presented and looked amazing! I would definately stay here again on return visits to Sorrento, you can't beat the location and the price was great too.

This hotel and stay in the Sorrento area was the highlight of our trip to Italy. If we had to do it over again, we would have extended our stay in Palazzo Jannuzzi and decreased our stay in Rome. It was OUTSTANDING! Service is wonderful and the room was a delight, so bright, comfortable. Entered our room to find cool champagne and an incredible balcony.

Definitely take advantage of this location and explore Paestum! The Greek temples are incredible. It's a city train ride to Pompeii Scavi, then take a quick cab over to the trenitalia Pompeii stop, and buy a roundtrip ticket to Paestum (1 hr away). Being able to see such amazing, well-preserved temples in Paestum pretty much made Pompeii/Ercolano/Roma look like rubble.

Room Tip: We loved our balcony!

We were in room 12, which was facing the Piazza with a terrace. Excellent location, perfect view, large modern room which is quite rare in Europe, lots of closet space, comfortable bed with a real duvet, bright, quiet AC, large shower, large bathroom, lots of room to move around, great breakfast, great friendly helpful staff, great value for the money.....all great! The only reason why I can't give a "excellent" review is the noise level. Maybe it's just us as nobody seems to mention this in the reviews. There is a restaurant right below so we heard banging until about 12:30am every night and it started again at about 7am every day. As well, the plumbing of some of the adjacent rooms seemed to be right behind our headboard so when people showered at 6am it made a lot of noise, enough to completely wake us up. We didn't mention it to the staff because they can't close the restaurant or change the plumbing! And we didn't want to change rooms as we loved our terrace. We do travel a lot but this hotel seemed noisier than what we have seen. Maybe we were more jetlagged than usual or we are "lighter" sleepers than we thought! The windows are very soundproof as we didn't hear anything from the outside. The noise level was from within the building. In any case, even though we lacked sleep during our 8day stay at the hotel, we absolutely loved the hotel. The numerous advantages outweighed this inconvenient. We would go back!

Room Tip: Terrace facing the piazza is incredible but a room on the second floor (unfortunately without a terr...

This bright and airy hotel is smack dab in the middle of town (Piazza Tasso). If you're going to the Amalf Coast and plan on doing day trips to Naples, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, and so on, Sorrento is a great central location for this. I just returned from Sorrento, and while though the weather was fantastic, I was not there to hang out at the beaches, so being in the center of town worked for me. The hotel's central location makes it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The Palazzo Jannuzzi Relais is a small hotel with huge rooms! Very clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom facilities were new, and the breakfast buffet was good serving made to order eggs, fresh juices, coffe was good, and you had the choice of eating inside or out on the terrace. I'd stay here again.

Room Tip: I stayed in room 23, which is the first window on the left hand side of the photo. Was not noisy at...
