You must try it. The fusion between italian and japanese couldn't be better. The atmosphere is the best we've had in Europe. Superb drinks and icecream! Be there.

We spent a week in Sorrento and book-ended our trip with 2 visits to Coku on our first and last nights. We couldn't have timed it any better with firework displays on both evenings that lit up the bay and made the experience of the restaurant all the more special. The views are magnificent and the terrace beautifully positioned and furnished in modern 5 star luxury. The service was warm, friendly and impeccable - they even re-opened the kitchen when we arrived a little late just so they could serve us. The japanese fusion menu is very good, so savour the quality of the food whilst the sun sets and you sip on the very best of local Italian wine. I'd advise to book in advance on a weekend (especially Sunday) but it's worth it, so make a special effort to visit this fantastic restaurant - you won't regret it.

The terrace of Coku and simply magnificent! The aperitif at sunset is something unforgettable! We ate a fine Japanese cuisine unconventional but very fresh and original. The fish was extremely fresh and the vegetables were very tasty! The black sesame ice cream and ginger ice cream are something very refined. The service is very attentive, friendly and I found professional waiters! Two things to improve: the cups of ice cream were not as nice as the rest of the porcelain, the wipes to clean your hands really cheap! For the rest of a wonderful evening and a wonderful dinner!

We went to the bar area twice during our trip, it's stunning! Watching the sun setting into the sea is perfect. It does come at a price though! 12 euro for a gin and tonic, but if you want something special....this is the place!

This hotel outside the city of Serrento is beautiful. The staff, accomendations, restuarant are fantastic. Make this your choice when visiting southern Italy.
