“What a view!”
Reviewed 13 July 2013

Just a few nights ago my wife and I sat down for dinner at this wonderful Robata grill restaurant in Sant'Agnello, which is at the heart of the Sorrento coast. Now although we did enjoy our meal, we felt as if the management staff (a certain bald gentleman and some sort of sommelier) were trying really hard to persuade us into anything they had to offer without even giving us a chance to glance at the menu. Nonetheless, we were very pleased with our waiter, a friendly, young american by the name of Vincent who was very well spoken and well-mannered, and explained the dishes to us perfectly compared to what the managers had told us, which was difficult to comprehend. Prices are extremely high but the view is breathtaking!

“Must try!!!”
Reviewed 7 July 2013 via mobile

We walked in by curiosity - place looked very nice.
And what a surprise!!!
Fantastic food, had never like that before! We asked for more and more until couldnt breath.
I can not even describe what we had!
Very nice service, best view over the sea and fantastic sunset!
If I will have any chance to be in the neighbourhood - will go there 100%

“Disappointing”
Reviewed 5 July 2013

The terrace is indeed magnificent! However, service left a lot to be desired. We were overwhelmed with help from 4 or 5 staff when we arrived but the delivery of the meal did not match the promise. Mains arrived separately (and staff response was completely patronising when we queried this.. implying we hadn't understood "the concept") Rice order was incorrect and vegetables were ludicrously small.. 6 slices of courgette for 6 Euros! We voiced our dissatisfaction to a waitress, who seemed genuinely concerned .. but none of the senior staff seemed remotely interested. The most expensive meal we had all week .. and the poorest.

“Best place in Italy”
Reviewed 21 June 2013

You must try it. The fusion between italian and japanese couldn't be better. The atmosphere is the best we've had in Europe. Superb drinks and icecream! Be there.

“THE best view of Sorrento”
Reviewed 14 August 2012

We spent a week in Sorrento and book-ended our trip with 2 visits to Coku on our first and last nights. We couldn't have timed it any better with firework displays on both evenings that lit up the bay and made the experience of the restaurant all the more special. The views are magnificent and the terrace beautifully positioned and furnished in modern 5 star luxury. The service was warm, friendly and impeccable - they even re-opened the kitchen when we arrived a little late just so they could serve us. The japanese fusion menu is very good, so savour the quality of the food whilst the sun sets and you sip on the very best of local Italian wine. I'd advise to book in advance on a weekend (especially Sunday) but it's worth it, so make a special effort to visit this fantastic restaurant - you won't regret it.
