This is a great property has something for everyone! Offers many extras.. Dining room is good. Staff are great. Room is nice, clean, spacious, safe deposit needs updating. Overall excellent place to stay in beautiful Sorrento. I would recommend staying here. Great experience.

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of Mt Vesuvius

I stayed in the Hilton Sorrento for a conference and have a mixed opinion of the hotel. It was in a great location, the food was excellent, the room clean, the staff very courteous. However - it was advertised as having individually-controlled A/C in each room. This is a critical point to me as I get migraines when I am too warm to sleep, so I need night temps of 17C/63F. I always check and double-check particularly with international locations. Upon arrival on a warm day, I learned there is room A/C available ONLY when the management feels the temp warrants the system to be turned on, and needless to say we disagreed on what temp that should be. Yes, it was cool outside, but as I had to sleep inside, what mattered was the INSIDE temp. They did get me a fan, and I was given a room facing the Bay of Naples, so it was not uncomfortable as the cooler air was sucked into the room. But on the last day, the wind turned at night and smoke filled my room from fires that had been burning in the valley below. I woke up coughing with terrible asthma. If you are as sensitive to temp as I am, I recommend your trip for the time of year when the outdoor temps are significantly cooler. It is a stunning location worth visiting, but you want to be rested and comfortable enough to really enjoy it!

Room Tip: Book a room on the side of the Bay of Naples, with breezes that come right up the valley to the hote...

Let me start with this: upon arrival at the Sorrento train station, it is a 20min hike uphill to the hotel. Doable, but cumbersome with luggage. A cab is about 15euros ($20usd).

Other than that painful surprise, the hotel and rest of the stay was very enjoyable. Clean, updated, great view of the bay. Every one speaks english, and concierge had schedules of buses, trains, and ferries. Hilton Honors breakfast was a decent start to every day. Free WiFi in lobby and lounge only. 15min leisure walk to town center.

So, occasionally you get lucky. Someone planned a conference in Sorrento. They put it at the Hilton of which I am a loyal customer. It's a great facility for business. All the modern conveniences. The location is good, close to restaurants and the pool looked stunning.

My room was nice. A modern bath and nice patio with a view of the water. If you ar going for business, you'll be happy.

If you're going for pleasure you won't be unhappy, but I just wonder if it's a little too sterile for Sorrento? I didn't find the service as out of the world as others wrote. The breakfast on the Hilton Honors floor was okay, not great. The view...stunning! My room faced some kind of event so there was pretty loud music into the evening forcing me to close the door and fresh air.

You could clearly do worse, but it think this is a safe choice whereas there may be some thing spectacular around the corner without a major brand associated with it. For business, lock it in! No second whatsoever,

We returned yesterday from our bucket list trip to Italy. It was all wonderful, including our stay at the Hilton Sorrento Palace for four nights at the beginning of our trip. The Hotel was excellent and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel communicated with us prior to our visit about our sightseeing options and booked our selections. We attended the Sorrento Musical and took the day trips of the Amalfi Coast Drive, Pompeii and Vesuvious, and the Isle of Capri boat tour. All were excellent experiences. It was a short walk to beautiful downtown Sorrento where we enjoyed the ambiance of a vibrant downtown business area and excellent restaurants. We enjoyed relaxing in the hotel piano bar and had an excellent dining experience in the hotel restaurant. The morning breakfasts in the hotel were outstanding with views through full glass walls looking out over Sorrento Bay.

Thank you Hilton Sorrento Palace for helping us have a fantastic stay and experiences in and around beautiful Sorrento.

Room Tip: Our 5th floor Sorrento Bay-view balcony room was ideal for scenic views looking out over Sorrento an...

We stayed in one of the family room. The heater/air conditioning was not working and the room felt stuffy. Our room is on the third floor and we can hear constant buzzing sound coming from above. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the hotel from Sunday 11th May departing Thursday 15th May, eight of us checked in together as we were staying for a wedding in Sorrento.

On arrival on the Sunday we were greeted by very friendly reception staff who quickly checked us in. All our rooms were really lovely, the beds enormous, plenty of hangers to hang our clothes, lots of drawers to put our other clothes, the room was very clean and tidy and the bathroom was lovely, big bath and very decent shower over the bath.

The swimming pool which is made up of six individual pools were very well maintained and was really lovely, it was not crowed at all and there are towels available and plenty of sunbeds.

The bar by the pool was great and the pizza's were one of the best I have tried.

Inside the hotel is a really lovely indoor pool, which is heated and has towels and beds to use. There is a big gym, should you wish to go!

The bar inside the hotel is huge and has the most amazing views, as has the restaurant which we had breakfast in every morning. The breakfast is great, huge variety of food.

The reception staff were so helpful, my boyfriend needed his shirt ironed for the wedding we were attending and they picked it up and had it back in the room in a few hours.

Pina was particularly helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

The hotel is located up a hill, which is very easy to walk up, we walked into town sometimes twice a day and it was a lovely walk.

Room Tip: We had a balcony looking over the gardens rather than the pool, but don't let this put you off a...
