Stayed 7 nights with my wife at the end of September. Very nice hotel, central location, spotlessly clean. Some rooms have balconies. Rooms have shower, multi-channel tv and small fridge as well as modern air conditioning. The wifi is free and a strong robust signal. Staff are friendly, with tips and advice and speak perfect English. Hotel has a small lift to take you to the top floors and breakfast room. Breakfast is continental – coffee, tea, fruit juice, cakes, bread, yoghurt etc.

If you are staying in Sorrento for any time, I can recommend in the evening the Trattoria da Emilia at the Marina Grande, 10 minutes walk from the centre of town for fish and pasta. If you like great roast chicken and pizza, with nice staff and reasonable prices, try Da Peppino in the suburb of Sant’Agnello. Both restaurants are popular with the locals and visitors alike. Both closed Tuesday.

Room Tip: Balcony rooms face the main street - Corso Italia.

We stayed at the Palazzo Tasso for a week. The room was airy and bright and very clean. It also had a little balcony overlooking the main street which provided great people watching. Pepe checked us in and gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation. He was polite and friendly every time we saw him. The location of the hotel is fantastic. It's a five minute walk from all the shops and restaurants of Sorrento and 5-10minutes from the train and bus station.
The price is reasonable and overall we had a wonderful stay. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location, very clean furnishing and decent sized rooms. Staff are very willing to accommodate - lovely stay overall! Breakfast is somewhat sparse, but there is so much great food and cute cafes are Sorrento that we rarely ate in the hotel.

Room Tip: Request a room with a balcony - a little noisier, but phenomenal "people watching"

This hotel is only 10 mins walk from the marina for boats to Capri and the same distance from the train and bus depot for trips to Pompeii or Amalfi. It is right in the centre so is close to all the restaurants and shops. Sorrento is not a rowdy place so there is no late night noise.

The hotel staff are all friendly and speak good English, the place is newly decorated and clean and I'd recommend it. As it is small there is no night porter, so make sure you arrive on the first night before 11pm. Best to email them if you think you will arrive late at night.

Room Tip: The rooms that front onto the main street have a nice balcony and view, the ones at the back don'...

We stayed at Palazzo Tasso for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it - the hotel is in a great location, 5 min walk to centre so far enough away not be be disturbed by traffic or late night revellers.
Hotel is well furnished - comfy beds; great ensuites with showers that have a decent power!!
Staff are fab
Breakfast is good
Would recommend if you are looking for a good quality place to stay wiothout too many people!!

Room Tip: if you ask for a quiet room you should get one on the quieter back street

The hotel is in a great location in the center of Sorrento. The service is great and the owners are very nice. However, our room was small although it was a delax room. Also, the breakfast was mediocre.

We have been staying at this elegant small hotel for all of August. It is now celebrating it' first year and it has proved to be a major success. It is situated in the old historic part of Sorrento on the original Corso Italia which is now the via Pieta.
It is close to the Piazza Tasso square and the elegant shops and restaurants. Although only having 11 rooms it has all modern amenities including a lift and excellent Wifi which is inclusive in the tariff.
It is immaculately clean with white walls and tiles throughout the hotel. The bedrooms and bathrooms are modern with all amenities.Fresh towels and linen are supplied daily.
Breakfast is Continental- cereals, fruit juice, yoghurt, fresh fruit, freshly baked rolls, croissants and cakes together with fresh coffee.
The owner,Silvana was born in Australia and speaks impeccable English.
The staff, Peppe and Rosaria are both helpful and delightful.
