The service was impeccable the staff are polite and cannot do enough for you.
Food very good and the views from all over the hotel are probably the best in sorrento.
Immaculately clean throughout and no doubt we will be back in the near future.

Bob and Sally Brown from Sevenoaks, Kent, UK 08-22-July-2011.

It was so good to return to The Bristol Hotel again this summer! We were warmly welcomed in reception by Antonio and Salvatore and were soon shown to our room it had 2 balconies and fantastic views of the Bay of Naples it was beautiful!! We then made our way to the rooftop dining room for lunch I really do urge guests to take full advantage of this as the food and the service are 1st rate, with great views. Afternoons spent relaxing by the rooftop pool is another highlight at The Bristol there is also a pool bar for a cool drink or an ice cream you can also get towels from the pool bar staff first one free. Dining room in the evening is very good the staff very helpful and friendly. This year you could also eat al la carte for an extra supplement. I advise guests to visit the bar on the 7th floor for a pre dinner cocktail or after dinner for drinks, Head Waiter Gian Paulo and Giuseppe will make you very welcome!! Many thanks to all the staff for making this a very special 40th wedding anniversary trip for us both. Ciao! Ci vediamo!

We booked an 11 day break on a half board basis with friends at the Bristol through Citalia from 5th July 2011. All arrangements ran like clockwork including transfer from and return to Naples Airport. The hotel was spotless, the staff were extremely professional and in particular the restaraunt staff were very attentive with a very slick service. The restaurant was consumately overseen by Matteo and it came as no surprise to learn that he had spent over 20 years with P&O Liners. For fairly large scale catering the food was of a good quality with a reasonable selection of each course. Wine was priced at not much more than one would pay at a reasonable restaraunt in the UK. The pool was large and well equipped with deck chairs, complimentary towels and a rooftop snack bar. The cocktail bar and terrace was very pleasant with occassional entertainment. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and toiletries. Our balcony gave excellent views over the grande marina and the south side of Sorrento and looked straight over to Vesuvius. In fact the only criticism I can make about the Hotel was that the balconies on our floor were all exposed sideways to each other and painted a rather drab colour. We were a 15 minute walk downhill (20 min back at a slower pace!!) to the town centre. There was no courtesy bus so I would say you need to be reasonably mobile to stay at this location (although local buses do run up and down).

Yes we would certainly go back to the Bristol and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. Our friends are of the same opinion and everyone we spoke to during our stay was complimentary about the Hotel and in particular the staff.

Returned to Sorrento for the third time in 2011 and our second time staying at the Hotel Bristol. The three biggest strengths of this hotel are the views from every floor, location and the staff. Firstly, the location is fantastic, it is a short walk into the main square and if you opt for a seaview room with balcony, you are guaranteed the most stunning view you could ever wish for! The room was clean and modern and we opted for half board during our stay. The staff are very friendly and eager to please and made us feel very special during our stay. Some staff even remembered us from two years ago, which was really nice! The food is good and offers a varied choice, but if like us, you wish to dine out some evenings you can ask for a packed lunch the evening before. The packed lunch was plentiful and very tasty! Also should mention that the sun terrace is also a particularly lovely place to relax, with stunning views, if you like to sunbathe! Thanks Bristol Hotel for making our stay so enjoyable again.

The situation of this hotel provides stunning views of the Bay of Naples from its bedrooms, dining rooms, sun terraces & rooftop pool. Everywhere you go in the hotel you feel you are in one the most beautiful places on earth. The hotel staff do everything to make your stay an outstanding experience yet there is a relaxed & friendly atmosphere. Our standard room was very spacious & well appointed with a small balcony, table & chairs to make the most of the panorama. We stayed for four nights on a half board basis- the food was very good & excellent value compared with most of the local restaurants. All areas & rooms were immaculately kept. We are a couple in our 50s & thought this was the best hotel experience we have ever had

Room Tip: Our room was on the 7th floor which was close to the dining rooms & rooftop swimming pool

We just got back from staying at the Bristol Hotel in Sorrento and can't say enough about it. When we were first showed to our room the view took my breath away. I think I could have sat on my balcony the entire trip and had a great time. I'm not usually a fan of hotel pools, however this one was on the roof and had even more amazing views. The water was always crystal clean and the sun chairs were comfortable and plentiful. The staff were very helpful in providing us with information on the area and although we didn't go on any, the hotel provides multiple excursions. The rooms are average size, very clean, and have shades for the windows and air conditioning-a MUST in July. The breakfast was incredible, especially as it was included in the price, and included a large variety complete with mimosa's! If I return to Sorrento I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Room Tip: Request a sea view room

We stayed at the villa bianca for seven nights in july 2011, stunning views, very clean, hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, we were only on B & B basis but we ended up having dinner there most evenings. The hotel is about ten mins away from the centre of Sorrento and away from all the noise and bustle of the town.
