We stayed here as part of our honeymoon in august 2012 and were very impressed. We had a junior suite which looked out over sorrento and the views really were fantastic. The suite was large with modern decor. The staff were really lovely and very helpful. The pool and surrounding area was really good. We also tried the mini golf and table tennis which was a nice addition. Unfortunately there were extra charges to use the spa which was disappointing considering the price paid. Breakfast was quite good, although not very varied, and on the occasions we did eat in the restaurant the food was good, but we preferred to sample the local restaurants. The hotel's location is excellent, a short walk from the town, which makes it nice and quiet. We were really pleased we chose the Bristol hotel and will definitely return if we visit sorrento again.

We stayed here as part of an organised trip going down to the Amalfi Coast, the hotel is excellent. It is a slight (but easy) walk to town, however beautiful walk. The hotel has amazing views and the staff are fantastic. Food was excellent also.

We stayed in the Bristol Hotel in August on our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty and were even upgraded to a villa. The room was just amazing and the view over Naples bay was stunning! All restaurants in the hotel were fantastic as were the cocktails in the bar! It really is a fabulous hotel with great staff, food and views!

Stayed at the Bristol early in November. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly, and the food is very good. An excellent view of the Bay of Naples from my room. I have stayed here twice while visiting the Amalfi Coast and look forward to returning.

Room Tip: The hotel has been expanded over the years, and it can be difficult to decipher where your room actu...

Stayed here for our silver wedding in Sept 2012. Booked through Thomsons but emailed the hotel direct re upgrade of room and were pleasantly surprised to have an extra large room. The service and attention to detail are second to none, couldnt fault it at all, so so relaxing. Meals exceptional! We had been in Rome for 3 nights so took pleasure in doing very little in perfect suroundings!! Stayed in room 204 with double patio doors bacony and wonderful seaview. We plan going back next year as how do you follow that!

hotel, food and amenities excellent. However we had a room with sea view with no balcony. The room itself we found very basic and the bed was rock hard along with the pillows. The quality of the room was very disapointing for the money we paid which was over £3,500.00 on floor six, wouldn't recommend the room at all.

Room Tip: dont pick a room on floor six on talking to other guests they thought the same too.

We were booked into the Bristol Hotel for seven nights with a tour. Unfortunately, the weather was overcast and rainy much of the time, but the views from our room were wonderful, and would have been spectacular on a sunny day. The location of the hotel is an easy walk to town and a convenient location from which to explore the Amalfi Coast region. The breakfast was very good, with many choices. We had five dinners at the hotel. I would give the food a B to B- rating. The portions were extremely large, and we ended up ordering two appetizers, which was plenty of food. Our room was a comfortable size, with a wonderful view from the balcony. Because of the time of year and weather, we couldn't take advantage of what looked like a wonderful pool and sun deck area. In addition, don't miss walking through the terraced garden above the pool. The olive trees were laden with olives. Very picturesque.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the front side of the hotel.
