Having never visited Sorrento before, we booked this hotel as our honeymoon choice. We stayed in a top floor room with a sea view, on a half board basis.
Upon arrival at 11pm we disembarked from our coach to see a very impressive front approach followed by a tiled tunnel leading up to the main reception area. For people with mobility issues there was a handy little buggy available instead.
Bags were taken directly to our room by the hotels porter, which saved us the usual lugging of cases and banging of ankles.
The room itself was fairly basic but very clean and had the most wonderful view of the town, it's harbour and Vesuvius. We loved the windows metal roller shutters we could bring down at night to completely block out light. It made for a very restful sleep and the odd late wake-up.
On reflection the only thing we would do differently in future is book a room with a balcony.
The hotel is in a quiet area but is a very short walk from the main town and shopping area, which made it really handy for getting out and about.
It boasts a swimming pool and sunbathing area along with a poolside restaurant which serves excellent food.
The evening restaurant was buffet style and contained a wide variety of food to meet all tastes and pallets. Since the choices changed on a daily basis there was no chance of becoming bored with the evening fair.
The staff were all very welcoming, helpful and spoke excellent English . I can only sing their praises in what must at times be a very difficult industry to work in.
There was also a small health spa and fitness area on hand carrying out various treatments but alas we didn't take advantage so I can't say how good it was.
All in all we would definitely go back again and if asked if I would recommend it to others, it would be a firm yes.

Room Tip: Be aware that there are cliff facing rooms, sea view rooms (both with and without balconies). Double...

We booked Conca Park for a 7 night break. The hotel were helpful and very friendly. The hotel is very clean and the pool area is maintained to a very high standard. The only thing that I would criticise is the WiFi. Do not rely on WiFi in the hotel if you plan to need it. Apart from that, I cannot fault this hotel.

Room Tip: Always pay the extra for sea view if you can as the rooms at the back face the mountain.

This was our first time having a family holiday to Sorrento and we had an amazing time. The Conca Park hotel is a very quiet, friendly hotel with amazing food and hospitality. The staff are very welcoming and always happy to please. The setting is beautiful and there isn't a far walk to the rustic lanes of Sorrento, which has plenty of shops and bars. The rooms are spacious and cleaned each day with fresh towels. Our only advice is be very aware of crossing the roads in Sorrento as zebra crossings are not used as they are in England and think twice before using the bus service after two hours we gave up. We highly recommend Conca Park for families with older children and couples. The M Family

We booked the Conca Park Hotel for an 11 night half board, second holiday. We picked it after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor were good.
All in all the place was as described. We had a top floor room that had a terrific view but no balcony, that was not too much of a hardship because of that view.
The only poor thing really was the waiter service and the dining experience.
When we first arrived for the first few days the waiters were around you like a rash. Once they realised we weren't tipping, then they were conspicuous by their absence. This was not only for drinks in the afternoon around the pool but in the main restaurant too.
It is not a serve yourself buffet as described. There are two or three chefs that serve you. You have to join the queue to get your soup along with other guests wanting main course. After your soup you had to go join the queue again for your own main course. The food was only mediocre, and not very hot either. At best it was adequate. There is no water provided with your meal so you have to buy it at 1 euro for a small bottle. I found the serving chefs were not that customer friendly either.
The waiters are not particularly enthusiastic about being there. One mealtime we were totally ignored. Plates were left to pile up on our table, and no-one even bothered to ask us if we wanted a drink. Another was when we went to get our main course our table was totally cleared when we had turned our backs.
Overall the only decent member of the waiting staff who bothered was the Maitre'D Antonio who was always talkative and offered a smile.
Cleanliness was pretty good and the rooms changed regularly with clean towels daily.
The restaurant service needs to be overhauled to make it more user friendly and staff training would go a long long way other than that then the Conca Park is a reasonable hotel to stay in.
The hotel offers two water features on the swimming pool a small waterfall and a large fountain. These were never on during our stay with no explaination as to why, They did work as they were tested a few times during our stay.
If you are lucky enough to get that view of Naples Bay with Vesuvius dominating the skyline it is worth it just for that.

Room Tip: Pay the upgrade rate for a room with a view. Otherwise you will get a view of a rock face.

Good hotel in a quiet location. Short walk to town centre although return to hotel is uphill or via a long tunnel - electric buggy available if needed. Friendly staff. Well kept hotel with a good range of food every night - repeated weekly. Would use again if returning to Sorrento.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a sea view with balcony

I have just returned from my 6th stay in this wonderful hotel. l can't praise the staff enough. They are all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My room was overlooking the garden as l requested and was kept spotless. l slept so well it was an effort to get up for breakfast but l wouldn't miss the great selection including eggs cooked to order. l travelled with my sister and brother-in-law who celebrated their golden wedding anniversary during our day. What a memorable evening! Wine on the house and then they were presented with a beautifully decorated cake and champagne! Thankyou Franco and staff. l can't fault the hotel and can't wait to return next year.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the Mediterranean Garden are quiet. Try to avoid a mountain view!
