We spent 7 nights here with Riviera Travel, the hotel is fabulous, friendly staff, good food, clean, comfortable, friendly, English speaking staff and best of all views that will take your breath away. It is a few miles from Sorrento, but the hotel runs a shuttle bus to and from the town of Sorrento which is a about 15 mins away by bus down the mountain, much too far to walk.

Room Tip: The local buses are not too frequent, we went with Riviera Travel who provide a brilliant service to...

The view alone will is worth it, but the hotel is one of those rare things, family run, friendly, not too big and most of all, great value for a hotel with a pool on this beautiful coastline. The food is good but not exceptional and it is a way up the hill from town, but there is a good , free hotel bus service, or take your life in your hands and hire a car, Positano isn't far, nor is Amalfi.

Worth paying extra for the sea view.

Before we flew to visit Italy, I contacted the hotel to inquire about transfers. They replied quickly with information on organising a taxi on our behalf, the bus transfer timetable and the trains. Also they emailed us a map with information about their shuttle bus service from Sorrento.

On arriving at the hotel, we were presented with a clean comfortable room with the best view from a hotel we have ever had. We stayed in a superior triple room, this included a double bed and a single. The bathroom had fluffy towels, a corner shower which always had plenty of hot water.

We decided to eat in the restaurant that night, which also has the amazing view, very attentive staff and good Italian food. The breakfast buffet was also always plentiful. There was coffees, tea, juice, cold meats, cheese, pasties, cakes, rolls, toast, jams, cereal , yogurt and juices. There is also a bar which has a light lunch menu.

The hotel provide a free shuttle bus to sorrento, which takes about 10-15 minutes which is invaluable and there is also free internet from their desktop PC (3). Or you can pay a small fee for internet. There is also a pool and sun loungers to enjoy the Italian sun and again the amazing view.

I cannot say enough about the staff, they are all wonderful and cannot do enough to make your stay as enjoyable as it can be.

Room Tip: Ask for a superior iew , the view is amazing.

We went out of season. It was a lovely quiet hotel, situated in the hills just outside of Sorrento. It is not a 5* hotel but a wonderful family run hotel. You get a fantastic view of Sorrento by night. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. There is a lot of parking if you hire a car (as a passenger the driving in Italy was scary but not as bad as I thought it would be). The hotel was very clean. There is a large lounge with computers and the internet payable by the hour. They started to fill the pool the day we arrived (early April) but although some of the days were lovely and sunny it was still too cold to use it. The Breakfast was a good continental type. We had one evening meal which was Ok, not the best. The shower was good with some soaps and shampoos provided, but no tissues. Please put up more hooks so there are more places to hang things. We are the type of people who go to bed early and do lots of site seeing, and there was a lot to see, so the hotel being slightly out of the way did not bother us (it was why we chose it in the first place). There is a courtesy bus and the last pick up was at 23.15pm. In fact for us it was in the right place because two of the restaurants recommended by other Italians happened to be near the hotel. One was called Fattoria Terranova which was set in an old farm house, if you phone them they will pick you up. It cost us 107 euros for the most fantastic meal. The other was a local pizza restaurant called Stelluccia at Sant Agnello with the best pizza ever. We drove to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius. We drove to the peninsular and did a great walk and stopped at a little café called Chiosco Bar in San Costanzo where he fed us fresh mozzarella his mum had made that morning and his first tomatoes of the season - fantastic. We went to Capri which again was great to see but a little expensive to get there, nearly 34 euros each on the hydra Foyle. All in all it was a fantastic holiday and we had a very warm welcome from every Italian we spoke to (bar the man that took my money at Mount Vesuvius). I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is family run. They are all very nice.
Due to the location we wouldnt stay here again. We had a driver and he couldnt find it.
Rooms are average and property needs renovating. The property does have great views of the whole of Sorrento!

We booked this holiday independantly and hired a car from naples Airport,it is situated at the top of a very steep hill and has fantastic views over the bay of naples and mount vesuvio, are room was a superior room at the front of the hotel it had a huge balcony with stunning views, there was a curtesy bus that took you down into the resort centre and back which was very handy,The breakfast was the usual continental fare and was very good we only had dinner once in the hotel as we wanted to try the resturants in Sorrento, you could also buy hot snacks on lunchtimes around the pool area, there was an elevated sun terrace above the swimming pool which was great for peace and quiet, the best thing about this hotel was the staff everyone of them was very friendly and helpful especially massimo the barman

Room Tip: well worth booking a superior room just for the views alone
