From the moment we drove through the beautiful lemon grove, we were greeted by Maria and her team. Led through to the balcony and served home made cake and lemonade we knew this place was something special. Yes there are hotels that have more facilities, but I can guarantee you will not be looked after or experience the warm and friendly service that you get here. Mrs Maria has passed on her superior service experience to Lisa and Marika - they're just so lovely. So in terms of the accommodation: The upper terrace will give you amazing views of the Bay of Naples, there's a hot tub and you can get a glass of wine or whatever you fancy! The rooms are spotless! absolutely immaculate. They have a rustic Italian feel and they've kept them simple and stripped back. Saying that, they have everything you need, TV, safe, mini bar, power shower etc. and you can use the pool in the next door hotel too! They also give you a phone with a service called Manet, we've never seen anything like this and it was amazing. There was tourist information, recommendations and you could contact the reception if needed, really useful. The bed was very comfortable. Little home made biscuits were left everyday which was a nice touch. The location is a little out of the way but it's such a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento, it's so peaceful and serene you can get a lovely balance with your holiday. There's a small steep hill to get into Sorrento so we walked in and got a taxi back which cost around 20-25 euros so not cheap. The lovely Maria drove us in many times too as she said that was her time to relax!! The weather wasn't kind with us but nothing could detract from what an amazing place this is. We couldn't recommend this place highly enough, if you go to Sorrento, stay here. A true gem, you won't be disappointed. Bellisima!More
