Don't get me wrong, definitely the largest hotel we've stayed at during our 10 day 5 city trip. Nice marble everywhere. But it feels so empty with it being so large, dimly lit, and silent (no music playing anywhere).
The staff at the front desk were wonderful and very helpful.
Dinning room is huge but food is lacking.. Some waitstaff were friendly while others mocked us at breakfast for checking our phones because we were checking in on family using the wifi (this bothered me being a waitress in the past, it was just plain rude). It was 9:45 and other people were still eating around us (closes at 10), clearly they were in a rush to leave. I felt very rushed, did not enjoy that at all.
Free wifi is wonderful and works all throughout the massive hotel.
Hallways on my floor (2) were very dim lit... And strange artworks covered the halls on our way to the room. But the room itself was VERY large, with a whole other room we walked into (extremely dim lit) with a few chairs and nothing else (seemed untouched and lacking in all perspectives). The bedroom was large with a very nice view (sea view balcony). But it's too noisy for me to enjoy sitting on the balcony because the main roadway is between the hotel and the view (and the massive "shuttle bus" into town is very loud below when unloading and picking up.
Bathroom very nice, large again, best tub we've come across in our rooms yet. Clean as well, very important.
Pool once again, very large, silent, not heated. We were all excited for the jacuzzi, no jacuzzi... Just a sub pool in the middle with the same temperature water as the rest of the pool with jets. When I asked the bartender he said it's never hot... I thought this was strange.
Overall was a nice stay besides the bickering waitstaff, wish I would have stayed closer in town though. Taxi from the port to this hotel isn't cheap (20+).
