This hotel is fabulous, the views are breathtaking, the food is fantastic, the staff are brilliant, helpful, attentive, nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend anyone to go, it is clean, and just a lovely place for a holiday.

Room Tip: Our room was for three and was enormous

A short walk from the town centre but fantastic views and great service. Spacious and clean rooms. We got a sea view room with a private balcony with breathtaking views of the Vesuvius and the sea.
The pool is slightly small for the number of rooms so grab a lounge chair early.
The beach is a 15 min walk down the cliff.
Service was friendly and prompt.
The hotel got us a fantastic boat tour of the islands which was an amazing experience.

Spectacular views. Extremely clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. The food was sometimes a little bland but on the whole very nice. 10 minute walk into town along a busy road, however, all the roads in Sorrento are busy, so it really doesn't matter.
I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. We had a fantastic holiday. Certainly on a par with the Sorrento Hilton Palace where we usually stay. I can't wait to return.

Room Tip: We were in room 101. Three ladies. We had plenty of room although I didn't see the suites. Ou...

The position is perfect, a short walk into town, even for us young pensioners ! And because it is built into the cliff below road level there is no road noise. Because of its position all the rooms have fantastic sea views over to Vesuvious. If possible the junior suites are worth the extra expense, we were lucky to have the largest one, it was very large and is the one in the official website with the 4 poster bed. We were there for 2 weeks and during the 1st week I became ill with a virus, the staff were really helpful and cooked me a bowl of rice and sent dry toast to the room ! Part of the hotel has been refurbished which is a work in progress but this didn't interfere at all with our stay. There is a bus stop right outside of the hotel although we never found the walk into town and back a problem. All the staff were incredibly helpful and we would love to return in the future ! The junior suites are now providing tea and coffee making facilities which is a luxury in Italy. Like the rest of Europe the prices in cafes etc are very expensive but if you shop around some are cheaper than others!

Room Tip: If possible pay the extra for a junior suite, although the standard rooms are also excellent.

This hotel was amazing! Best view i have ever had in any hotel i have ever stayed (we travel a lot). Rooms were clean, well maintained. But what was the best part of our stay was the staff- the friendliest staff not only in Europe but anywhere in the world. Very helpful, very friendly, very resourseful! From the concierge to the pool attendant, everyone really gave it their al

We just recently got back from our honeymoon and stayed at Hotel BelAir. The staff were fantastic and could not be more helpful with organising day trips or suggesting places to eat at night.

The rooms were extremely clean and the view was simply stunning. We would stay here again, when we go back to Italy.

This is a clean and very comfortable hotel with attentive and pleasant staff. Two issues: we ate at the restaurant the first night, and the food was terrible, greasy and overcooked. To be fair when the head waiter saw I hadnt eaten mine he pressed me to take anything I liked from the a la carte menu and was quite upset. I didnt take him up on the offer because I had just ploughed through a starter that was almost as bad, soggy pasta smothered with passata, and couldn't face the possibility of more horrible food. We didnt eat there again in the evening so I cant say whether or not it was a one off. Breakfast was absolutely fine.

The second one is about the walk into town. Other reviews make light of it, and I can see that the lovely views and the (comparatively)good value hotel make the walk worth it, but if you go by road while you have the lovely views on one side of you the other side is a very busy road and the pavement is narrow - have to walk in single file. It's 10 minutes to the centre and 20 to the harbour. Also, coming back is uphill! Adds quite a strain after a long day in Capri, so either go prepared for this or like others go down the steps on the way in to town and get a taxi back.

Room Tip: The point of this hotel is the view across the bay
