My wife and i stayed for 10 days and there was not much repeat in the standard half board fare which was always very good with a resonable choice. Michele and his team were top class and they were all very friendly. On most days the weather allowed us to eat on terrace to enjoy the fantastic views as you dined. All rooms had a sea view, ours was on first floor with a small balcony (but view made up for this)but although room was narrow it was fairly deep with a good sized bathroom with bath and shower and a kingsized bed and always cleaned to a high standard. Pool is a little small but ok for sunbathing with occansional dip to cool off. Walk to main resort area takes 15 minute to main square but was uphill back but was not a problem to us. We had our 40th wedding aniv here but did not inform hotel direct but we did tell the tour operator but we assumed they did not tell hotel as no ackowledement was made by hotel. No fault of hotel. All in all a great hotel in a loverly location.

My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Belair in Sorrento and it was wonderful. Gianluca was incredibly helpful before our stay and continued to be the perfect host throughout our time in Sorrento. We had a small balcony, which we enjoyed during the evenings, as the view across the Bay of Naples was breathtaking. It's just a short walk into Sorrento from the hotel (max 10 mins), where you can find some great restaurants (if you don't fancy eating at the hotel every night) and the infamous gelato. We received a complimentary bottle of bubbly upon our arrival, and the breakfast buffet each morning was amazing. The excursions from the hotel were also very worthwhile, particularly Capri by boat and the local farm and food tour (the best mozzarella i've ever tasted!). Thank you to Gianluca and the team for helping to make our honeymoon really special! We hope to travel back and visit!

This hotel is up the hill from the town center which gives you a fabulous view of Sorrento, Naples and towards Capri. The rooms are nice with large bathrooms. The food is a bit boring so I would recommend dining at other restaurants. The one downside to the location is the walk back from Sorrento...uphill all the way. But you do get the best view!

What a great hotel. My husband and I stayed here from May 5th for 11 days. The room (a junior suite), was large, with plenty of storage space. This includes a kettle, bathrobes and fridge which we used to keep milk and water cool. The staff are friendly and helpful. I can't think of a better location than this, your room will look out onto the Bay of Naples, mount vesuvias and the marina grand are picture perfect, the view changing with different light.
I love the short walk into town, but the path is somewhat narrow in places. The food is good. I hate cheese (which I thought would be a problem in Italy),but I always found something delicious to eat and even tried new things. Nothing about this holiday disappointed, and we'll return here if we come to Sorrento again.

We stayed in the Belair on the 28 April for 3 nights and totally enjoyed are stay. We received a nice welcome and were shown to our room. We had booked a superior room, which it certainly was, it was huge with a four poster bed, lovely big balcony, tea and coffee facilities and even a walk in wardrobe!! It was about a ten minute walk down the hill to the centre, nice walk but it rained a lot of the time we were there so had to avoid getting splashed by all the traffic going by. There is a little shop half way down the hill which sells everything, a bottle of prosecco was 6 euro which was nice and it was ok to drink it in the room or sitting on the balcony. Beware the taxi's, they are very expensive, we got one up to the hotel from the main square at the bottom of the hill one day and it was nearly 20 euros. We didn't eat in the restaurant during the evening but it looked nice, breakfast was ok it was continental and you could ask for eggs and they would cook them fresh. Staff very nice and polite and helpful if you needed them. We did our own thing and got the train to Pompeii and boat to Capri, very easy to get around. We also got the airport bus to and from the airport, only 10 euro. Sorrento is a beautiful place and we will definitely return and hopefully stay at the Belair.

So yes, this hotel is about a quarter mile walk up a hill from the city center but very, very worth it. The views are superb. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are large and the bathroom had a nice tub. The views from the private balcony off our room were unbeatable. The breakfast service was also nice. The waiters cater to you. Oh - and there is a pool, so if you're hot from your walk up from the city center you can go for a dip AND enjoy the best views in Sorrento.

This is a lovely hotel with great, friendly staff. We had a bottle on ice waiting for us on arrival and the view from the room across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius is amazing. It would have been nice to have had a kettle in the room but this is a minor gripe. To wake up to that view more than made up for that. Oh and the food was great as well!
