From the first moment we arrived at the Hotel Belair for our Honeymoon, my wife and I realised we had hit the jackpot.

We got an incredibly warm welcome. The hotel laid on some bubbly for us to enjoy on our terrace and I have to say it was the perfect start.

Every room appears to have spectacular views over the Bay of Naples and Sorrento. Mount Vesuvius looks spectacular and the Marina Grande looks magical in the setting sun.

The staff are an absolute credit to the hotel. Every single employee, from top to bottom, goes out of their way to make your stay amazing.

We got some great advice on fun excursions which we were able to book through the front desk. Every excursion we did was memorable. The restaurants they recommended were awesome too.

There's a great breakfast served up every morning to set you up for the day.

We can't wait to come back.

Thank you so much.

My wife and I have just returned from an 11-night stay at Hotel Belair for our honeymoon... It was absolutely fantastic. The hotel's position on the clifftop means that the view over the bay of Naples is simply stunning, and something of which we never tired.

The service from all the staff throughout our stay was first class, particularly in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner time. The food available on half-board was varied and delicious.

One can enjoy the view from the pool area too - this is best enjoyed in the morning and early afternoon as the hotel's position means that the pool is in shade later in the afternoon. It is possible to access the nearby public beach and private bathing platforms via a staircase from the pool area, but the climb back up is tough in the heat!

Our room - 214 - was wonderful - a huge junior suite with classical decor and a fantastic terrace style balcony. It was kept spotlessly clean every day.

The centre of Sorrento is a 15-20 minute walk down a slight hill beside a busy road - this can be a bit tiring during the walk back up, and taxis are available but very expensive!

Overall I would recommend a stay at the Belair to anyone, and we would love to go back!

Room Tip: The upgrade to a junior suite is a must... Very little difference in price, but a much larger room a...

This hotel and it's staff were great. Very attentive and very peaceful. The views were stunning and ever changing. My husband and I stayed for a week and explored the delights of the area. I can understand why so many of the other guests had been coming back for so many years.

My husband and I stayed here for 10 nights on our honeymoon and I have nothing but great things to say about it. We were greeted very kindly by all of the staff, who couldn't have done anymore to make us feel comfortable during our stay. They also gave great advice for places to eat and excursions to go on which included a tour of the Amalfi Coast, a boat trip to Capri and a wonderful day visiting a local farm and sampling all of the amazing produce.

The hotel is a nice steady walk of about 10 mins of the centre of Sorrento. The pool is lovely and great for cooling off on really hot days. Our room was beautiful with a stunning view across the Bay of Naples to Mt Vesuvius. The whole hotel was lovely and clean, air conditioned and the breakfast everyday was delicious with a great range of choice. I really cannot rate this hotel high enough and one day we will hopefully return.

Room Tip: It seems all rooms have a wonderful sea view, most with balconies. Ours was a superior room (213) wi...

Our second stay in this great hotel. Without doubt the position, view and service in this hotel are second to none .We were welcomed back. and the receptionists, Michelle, Mario and Luigi in the restaurant, Rossaro in the bar, Steffano by the pool the lovely ladies who maintained our room (202) perfectly and all the rest of the staff whose names escape me at present contributed to a great stay, Thank-you all so much. We hope to return again.

This is a lovely hotel, amazing view from balcony over Sorrento. Breakfast was very good, service friendly and helpful. Rooms basic, comfortable and clean. Interesting walk down steps to beach, not for the fainthearted.

All I can say about this place is it was amazing. After having a very sub standard experience at another hotel(conca park) in sorrento we came across this hotel on trip advisor and loved it. The staff were friendly the room was clean and the bed was comfy, and the view OMG. I would recommend anyone to stay here it was amazing. So good I proposed on the balcony overlooking the bay of Naples.
