“A great hotel for enjoying Sorrento”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2011

Very convenient to shopping and restaurants in Sorrento. Comfortable room with balcony overlooking lovely garden. A bit noisy from traffic in the late afternoon/early evening, but still pleasant to enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony. Excellent breakfast buffet.

This hotel is located very close to the old town of Sorrento, about 7 minute walk from the train station, if you know how to do it. The room was clean, the service was excellent. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The only thing I did not like was no free WIFI. You had to pay and use it only downstairs, it did not work in the room. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were really nice, helpful and friendly. The roof top pool was great to relax by, and the food was good. It is ideally situated in the heart of the town! I would recommend it! :)

Loved this hotel. Very neat and clean. Outstanding views from the sixth floor outdoor restaurant/pool area. Absolutely beautiful gardens outside the back of the hotel. Ogo an excellent bartender and waiter. Nice dining room off the lobby with excellent food. Within walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops and Sorrento Harbor. A computer products store that offers very reasonable hourly Internet access rates, a two-minute walk from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here in September(4 of us)impossible to sit out on the balcony due to traffic noise, suggest you ask for a room away from the road. Hotel is ideally situated for the cenntre of Sorrento, restaurant food ok(we were half board)but nothing exceptional, Hotel was clean and staff in the main were very good, probably would not come back to this hotel.

Fabulous location for shopping, people watching, 10 mins from coastline, public transport, buses and trains very close, and of course central for amalfi coast ,naples, and pompeii & vesuvius.
Relaxing as you want to make it. In this hotel lots of tour operators use it, so basic breakfast but nice uncomplicated dinner.

Spent a week here in room 503 with fabulous views, room was large with ample space, and spotlessly clean. The hotel staff were warm and friendly throughout our stay, always willing to chat and have a laugh with us. The food was exactly what we expected, typically simple but lovely, always hot and served with a smile. Hotel garden was a nice place to chill out, and the pool area always plenty of room, and bar service was excellent. The position of the hotel could not be better, 5 mins max away from Piazza Tasso, one of the reasons that we chose this hotel.Lots of excursions to go on,but can all be sorted independantly, or just go on the arranged trips out. Will definately be returning to this hotel after this years experiance,as we could not fault it, a lot of the guests had been many times before, that says it all really.
