Nothing had changed we were greeted by the family that manages the Hotel. It was like visiting
family. The rooms were comfortable and the view of the Bay of Naples superb. They have added a small wine bar . The featured wine is a local wine , both red and white that is excellent and very reasonable. If you are looking for a hotel with everything Italian the Villa Fiorita is it!
ENJOY!

Room Tip: Room with a balcony overlooking the pool gives you the best views.

This hotel is a long way from Sorrento but has a bus stop outside (not very reliable!) The staff can organise trips and there is a free taxi service to 4 good restaurants, which the staff will also arrange. The rooms are basic but clean, but the beds were extremely lumpy! The views are beautiful and there is a sunbathing terrace. The pool was too cold to use and the breakfasts aren't that good but ok if you like bread. We got excellent value for what we paid so 4 out of 5 is a true rating.

Room Tip: Il borgo restaurant was good with free taxi from hotel. Be early for the bus and don't be surpri...

I'm all for saving money where/when you can, but if I had my time back we probably wouldn't have stayed here. That said it was decent and clean, but not what we expected I guess. Not a picky eater, but had a hard time finding something for breakfast - although one day they had chocolate croissants which were quite good. Skip the coffee machine and pay the extra to have them make you a good cappuccino for 1 euro. View is amazing, but overall pool needs maintenance and patio furniture needs upgrade. Staff weren't overly friendly, but we're very helpful. The bus stops right out front to take you to Sorrento (town). If you'll be using the bus more than one day buy a pass. Go to L'Abate for dinner...very good. We bought linen scarves and limoncello while shopping in Sorrento. We took Circumvensuviana train from Naples train station to Sorrento, but wouldn't recommend it. It was hot, crowded and took over an hour. That said, it was 4 euro per person vs 120 euro cab ride. At the end of the day Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano, Ravello and Capri are absolutely beautiful!

I stayed 3 nights in Room 1, with a sea view. A beyond-stunning view of the Bay of Naples, with Vesuvius in the distance.

I found the service very friendly and the room comfortable. The hotel served a fairly decent dinner menu, and although the foods were frozen, they did a great job dressing them up like real meals and serving with fresh bread. Wifi was free but with limited range (reaching mostly the lobby and outside patio). I was able to fill up on their breakfasts.

The only drawback was the distance from everything (Sorrento) and parking, although the hotel moved and returned the car with no issues. Yet quite honestly, had the hotel had a parking lot, I found there was no convenient parking available in Sorrento and none anywhere along the Amalfi coast. The hotel private driver was a reasonable alternative for going to Sorrento. I never used the bus, but the stop was right outside the entrance. Also, the hotel recommended restaurants close by with courtesy cars and these were really good.

So the hotel does a great job handling what's probably the biggest complaint from tourists...the distance from Sorrento. I'd stay again!

Room Tip: Choose Sea view

The bad points.? Er. None. (I love and miss you IDA). Relaxed family run hotel with tons of love and understanding.pool spotless bar prices cheaper than the restaurants and ripp off places in sorrento. Rooms spacious and very clean.nothing is to much trouble arranges cheap taxis or arrange free transport to local village up the hill .very informative about the area. Food. Breakfast is fresh no "just out the freezer " food. No lunch but will make toadies and sarnies. Evening there is a small menu I had the omelette. Tasty with lashings of tomotoes and bread. Tea coffee hot chocolate always on the go.the terrace is so romantic( I love you Ida ) book direct. English is spot on save a bomb views are to die for would I return. Yes and more yes

Room Tip: Book direct. The travel agents deal with agents who will sell the travel agents what they as for but...

We spent 6 fantastic nights at this hotel. We could not fault any aspect of the service provided. The family run hotel is welcoming and provides all the requirements for all travellers.
It is a fair way out of Sorrento town but serviced by the local buses it is only a 15 minute trip in. Breakfast was ample and fresh and in house meals are good if a little limited in choice. Three local restaurants provided courtesy cars to eat out at their restaurants. Rooms are clean and spacious with some having incredible views across the Bay of Naples..
Giovanni is a superb host ably supported by other family members. Nothing is too much trouble for them. A fantastic break which was enhanced by the surroundings and people.

Room Tip: Sea facing rooms have spectacular views

My boyfriend and I arrived at Villa Hotel Fiorita late one evening and to no fault of the hotels, our booking had been cancelled 3 weeks previous without our knowledge due to the booking agency (clever hotels) going into liquidation. Giovanni saw that we were not to be left stranded (although he had absolutely no obligation to do so) and he had us booked into a wonderful local hotel (Il Nido) within 30 minutes. He also allowed us to use the pool at his hotel any day we wished and we were welcomed with a smile when we did. As Il Nido was booked up after the second night, he personally picked us up and drove us to a beautiful B&B called Il Palmento in Piano de Sorrento to see out the last 3 nights. His actions and generosity have made our holiday an exceptional experience and only for him, it would have been ruined. We can't thank him enough and we will for sure to return again!!! A true gentleman!!
