From check-in to check-out we were made to feel welcome and part of the "family". Hard to fault. Views of Vesuvius and Bay of Naples from the top pool are superb. Very relaxed atmosphere despite the suggestion to "dress up" for dinner. We joined in the spirit and had a great time on the night we dined in. There are so many places to sample great food a short stroll away we were spoilt for choice. We went down to the harbour using the lift at the sister hotel. Interesting for a Prosecco but don't expect an easily-accessible beach. Lovely town and surrounds and a very nice hotel

Our room was on the third floor and faced the sea. The view from the room and balcony of vesuvius was amazing. It was a lovely spacious room and tastefully decorated in classic italian style.
There was a rooftop pool and sundeck, towels were provided free of charge. The view the bay of naples and vesuvius was fantastic.
The choice of food in the restaurant was extensive. It was always tasty and well presented. The staff were really friendly and good fun. You could eat in the garden if you preferred.

Room Tip: To have a good sea view from your room, you would need to be on the third floor or higher.

We spent 1 night in this hotel after 3 nights in Napoli, before heading out to Positano and Amalfi in October 2013. The hotel has some style to it and seems to be very large relative to other establishment in this region. Location is perfect as it is in the quiet part of town but only takes 10mins' stroll to the Piazza. There is a supermarket on the way where you can buy fruits and water which was very convenient. Service was excellent and helpful. Rooms were large and very clean. I particularly liked the floor tiles which gave the room a Mediterranean feel. Breakfast was buffet style and the best in terms of quality compared to the rest I have had in this trip. The breakfast room was large and had a very nice deco. The pool on the roof is small but is good enough for having some fun in on a hot summers day. Parking fee is a bit steep but I believe it applies at almost all hotels in the region. We were given a Euro6 coupon at the time of making the reservation which was used to deduct the parking fee. Overall, we really liked the hotel, one in which you can comfortably chill out in the summer and use as a base to tour the rest of the region.

I was disappointed with this hotel.
The rooms are cold and the decor is not welcoming.
I have traveled to a lot of countries, I have never come across a four star hotel without tea coffee making facilities.
When we checked in we were told that there is no iron in the room but is available on request. When I asked for iron the next day I was told that it will cost 2.50 Euros per hour!!!
What kind of four star hotel is this??
The toilet has a grey shower curtain, don't be surprised it was supposed to be white but has become grey. The exhaust of the bathroom does not work!!!!
This is definitely not a four star hotel. The rooms are so noisy you can hear people around.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The room was well appointed but as usual in Italy no tea or coffee making facilities in your room. The shutters worked well to keep the early morning light from the room. The bathroom was beatifully tiled and had marble sink and bath surround. There was no fruit basket in the room when we arrived and although there were net curtains they had not finished dressing the window with curtains and tiebacks. I complained that there was no fruit and was told that our panorama room didn't have fruit. Luckily I had printed the hotels web page which confirmed that it should have had fruit. Fruit was then provided. Curtains were provided when the staff were made aware. The breakfasts were brilliant - fruit, cereal, meats, cheeses, jams, cakes, full cooked breakfast and prosecco just to keep you chilled out for the day ahead! We had a lovely week here in this delightful hotel which was a short walk from the station or the main square.

Room Tip: 411 north facing, road runs past but wasnt noisy when we were there. There was more noise from some...

October 19th we checked into the Grand Hotel in Sorrento and we were greeted by warm and welcoming staff. We stayed through October 26th and every day we enjoyed a remarkable breakfast. The service we top notch and the accommodations were impeccable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Sorrento. It is close to the city center and shopping.

Room Tip: Rooms with a view of the coast have a large balcony to sit and enjoy a glass of wine.

This was a well-appointed, strategically-located hotel and we are happy to have stayed here for our first visit to Sorrento. The rooms were peaceful, very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very satisfying, the wait staff were all courteous.
