“Little gem tucked away”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

This restaurant is tucked away literally behind the hospital. It has a walled garden and a summer house type eating area. The gardens have lovely chairs to sit and sip your wine in after your meal. If you know how busy Sorrento can be this a truly peaceful haven in the city with good service and excellent food at reasonable value. As it was bit breezy, the waiter even brought me a blanket:) We both had steak and mashed potato. Sound very English but it was amazing accompanied by good wine. Certainly one for the little black book!

“Just Ok”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

A nice looking venue in a pleasant garden. Pizza's were perfectly acceptable, food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. All in all I can't say anything bad about this place, however, I cant be enthusiastic about it either the atmosphere was just a bit flat.

“Oasis in busy town”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

We were taken aback to find this restaurant in such a busy resort. It is at the far end of Via Fuoro away from the centre of Sorrento and is in the grounds of an old house surrounded by a high wall. We ate outside in the shade of the many trees including a large lemon tree. Service was good as was the food which is reasonably priced. It is worth the visit as it is like an oasis away from the busy town.

“Hidden oasis in busy Sorrento”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

This restaurant is outdoors on the grounds of what was once a private home and is now a B&B. It is hidden away in busy Sorrento and surrounded by stone walls. It is green, quiet, and very peaceful. There are no scooters rushing by and it is not a tourist spot, both great things!
The service is friendly and mostly handled by young folks, who do a great job. The prices are very good for Sorrento, and the wine list is interesting and also well priced. Unlike many places in Italy, it is very possible to get a bad meal in Sorrento, because of the tourist trade and restaurants that just cater to that. Seek this place out, the food is great, the menu is interesting and carefully prepared. Also, you will not be surrounded with folks who speak English, which I have found is a warning sign for a poor meal in a restaurant in Sorrento. I am almost afraid of reviewing this place so highly, I don't want to ruin the experience for those who find it on their own by adding more tourist traffic to it. Go while it is still a little out of the way and un-discovered!
