We stayed at this hotel for our Honeymoon and chose it for its location and reviews on staff. The best qualities of this hotel are its staff and cleanliness. The pool area is small with only 16 very close together sun loungers by the very small pool. We very rarely found a space on the sunbeds as 16 beds is not enough for 59 rooms. The hotel has a roof terrace that has fantastic view over the bay and although it has another 18 sun loungers it has no bar facilities up there. Its just a roof with 18 loungers with a shower. As I said one of the best qualities are the staff and you will not find better in terms of helpfulness. The rooms have clean towels EVERYDAY and the beds are changed every other day. The Hotel is spotless I simply did not see and dirt, dust or grim. The food is at the best OK. The breakfast is very very basic buffet. Mostly cakes and some bread and rolls for toasting, some cereal, jam, yoghurts, hard boiled eggs and now and again scrambled eggs. Coffee and tea are served to you and there is cheap fruit juice. It was easy to not bother because you knew what it would be like every day. The evening meal is chosen at breakfast with 3 choices for starter and the same for main. The desert is a surprise and there is no choice. The starters are often soup or pasta and a veggie choice and the mains are fish or chicken/Turkey and again a veggie option. Deserts are good. Again its easy to not bother as its not at all inspiring although I would strongly disagree with comments on TA to say its terrible or inedible. We chose half board because we were concerned that the prices were high but we wish we would have gone to a better standard of hotel on room only or B&B as you can eat reasonably cheap if you want to. I would say that generally Italy is twice as expensive as spain but you can eat a two course meal with a drink for 40 euros for 2 if you stay away from the main Sorrento tourist areas. UK prices are about as good a guide as you need really if you want to know how much it will cost you. So a coffee is 2.5 Euro and pint (although its not a full uk pint) is 5 Euro. A Panini is 4 Euro is a café. A Coke is 3 Euro which is nearly always served to you out of a can. Summing up I would avoid this hotel and choose one with a bigger pool and more sunbathing areas and go B&B not full board. I would have all the staff in any Hotel in the world as they really were a credit to the owners.
