Stayed here while on a small group tour which covered the Sorrento/Amalfi peninsula, Pompeii and Herculaneum, and Capri. Good base for this sort of trip, with clean, compact rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Convenient to a host of restaurants. Our room had a small balcony overlooking a main street, Corso Italia, but wasn't particularly noisy when the balcony door was closed. In good weather one can sit on the balcony, which has two chairs and a small table, and enjoy the passing scene. While the hotel is comfortable, it is not luxurious.
The breakfast room offers a couple of juices, fresh croissants, so-so bread and hard rolls, pastry, one or two kinds of fresh fruit, ham, cheese, three or four kinds of cereal, yogurt, etc. There's a good sized supermarket next door, but the rooms are not set up for eating in.
There's internet available for a small fee, although our tour included it. Only one computer, but with only 12 rooms that wasn't a big problem. Room TVs have an English channel or two; a wider selection is available on the TV in the breakfast room.More
