I spent a night in the camping in a cabin but should have not.
Bed bugs were all around on the matresses in the cabin!!!
I could not get avoid getting bitten so what was expected to be an overnight stay in Sorrento became later a medical case to cure.
What a miserable and filthy place!
Never again!

We read reviews before booking our bungalow and our impressions overall were that we were happy we booked it. It was a much cheaper option than others in town. It takes about 20 minutes to walk into town, and about 5 of that is not on a footpath but there's a bit of room to walk without fear of getting run down.

The bungalow was basic but charming, we felt. We found the beds comfy and slept well. The kitchen doesn't feature an oven which was a shame but the hob and fridge allowed us to do a fair bit. Disappointing not to have a couple of basics like a sponge and dish detergent as the last people who stayed left dirty coffee cups.

The site itself is lovely and well-maintained. There are shy resident lizards everywhere, fig and olive trees. There's a small private rocky beach which was nice. We also ate at the restaurant one night and for the price, couldn't complain.

The biggest downside for us was the expensive and unreliable internet. We, and another guy, had trouble connecting on the computers in the small hut near the campsite entrance and when we spoke to a staff member he got it working immediately but did so with a bit of attitude. The computers weren't user-friendly and even once working, the internet was incredibly slow.

Great place to stay! We stay on a budget, and booked at the ostello part of the campsite. We had kind of a circustent with two beds! There was a kitchenbox so you could cook..!
The beach was amazing!!! So great!!

Great location too, just half an hour walk to Sorrento ( or 2 minute bus) from were you can go to Pompeii and Amalficoast..

Great place, and good value for money! Very nice and quiet after some big cities!
Also a splendid view from some parts of campsite!

I got to Sorrento via train from Rome, change in Napoli. At the Sorrento train station, I took a bus, 10 minutes and reached the camp. Check in was fairly easy, we were given a map with where everything was, notably the beach.

I stayed in the Green Camp - as described, basic, with two clean beds, wooden flooring and the tent fits two people nicely (me and my daughter, 12 years old and we're Asian :)). not good if you have too much luggage thought. Our tent was located in a row of four other tents and we only met one of the other occupants. They were all very quiet and we slept very well. No mosquitoes, just chirping birds in the morning.

The bathroom and toilets were about 200m away, well cleaned, with hot shower. We seldom met with other people there and usually have the place to ourselves.

The whole camp is complete with a supermarket, restaurant, vending machine for drinks, and internet place and it offers a tour of Capri as well (we missed it as it needs to be booked two days in advance!)

We went to beach upon arrival, its a rocky beach with warm water and nice view. Small but ok. But the rocks are sharp, so you need to wear slippers/sandals while walking on the rocks. It could get quite crowded too.

The bus service is frequent, runs every 20mins. But please buy your tickets in advance in town upon arrival as we had to walk on the roadside with really fast cars/bus etc to get to the place to buy tickets (500m from the Camp). Its really a dangerous road!

All in all, I would stay here again. Will try book one of the cabins/bungalows facing the sea next time and stay longer!

In a very expensive town this place is a bit of a haven for the budget minded. We went for a wedding and everywhere is so expensive to eat drink and sleep so when we found this on HostelWorld we booked staright away! Wasnt too dissapointing, great views, nice walk into town, good pool, good shop/restaurant!! Just dont go there with high expectations and you wont be p****d like some people obviously are about it!

People with a large motorhome need to be wary, if you dont get a spot on the first elevation the camp winds around small roads and take some getting into to avoid trees. The amenties on the first elevation are adequate but the ones further away are very poor and do not even have toilet paper! It is a long walk all up hill from the bottom to the street entrance. If you are lucky enough to get a few of the choose spots on the first elevation there are some fantastic views. Overall not as good as other camps i have stayed in europe nor as clean!

We liked this camping site very much. They have many facilities for holidays: swimming pool and own beach free of charge, 2 and 3 place private tents, cabins or bongalows, pivate or shared showers and toilets (clean!), small kitchen with fridges per every 4-5 cabins.
We stayed in double tent which appeared to be wooden house-cabin 2x2 m with 2 beds and a window and a shelf inside (but not all tents are wooden). The linen and pillows were provided and they were clean. The "tent" had a wooden door with a lock, you can keep the key if you go outside of the camping.
Our kitchen was always dirty because people did not clean after themselves, the toilets and showers were cleaned every day by stuff. Showers have hot water. There were dishes and pans in teh kitchen.
There are also special basins for washing teh dishes and clothes washing. There are also washing mashines (maybe for additional charge) in camping.
The way to the beach is quite long because camping is on the hill, but it is the same everywhere in Sorrento because of teh rocky coastline.
The cabins are surrounded by lemon, orange and olive trees.
Sorrento is 20 min. by foot (along highway) or 10 min. by bus. One can stay in camping and take excursions on site or from Sorrento.
We are satisfied with our holidays in this camping.
