Hotel Prestige made our stay wonderful. The staff really excels at this hotel. Maria at the front desk took care of every request and was so king. They offer a wonderful breakfast. This was the only hotel in Italy that we stayed at that had eggs for breakfast. The staff also soke great English. It appears that this hotel caters to Americans and the British.

We liked being away from the crowded Sorrento. The shuttle driver was amazing and made the drives to town fun.

Room service was very cheap and delicious. The SITA bus stop was right outside the hotel.

Highly recommended.

Room Tip: We were on first floor. Road in front of hotel very noisy. Try for room on top floor.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable, situated high on a hill overlooking Sorrento and the Bay with great views in two directions, and the breakfast is quite good. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating. It is not easy to find by car. Our major disappointment was that we were there the weekend the Giro d’Italia was in town, and no one on the staff could tell us the route or the times the roads would be closed (it mattered because the race used the road to the hotel and we would have been unable to get out of the area when we needed to). My wife finally went to the race website and figured things out, and what she discovered did not accord with what we were originally told at the front desk. Other than that frustration, we had a very pleasant stay.

This is a lovely hotel and the staff from the girls on reception to the bus driver are so helpful and friendly. The pool had such a fantastic view. It is a little out of Sorrento but the shuttle bus was very handy. Best hotel out of 5 on our 2 week trip.

A lovely hotel perched above Sorrento. The free shuttle into town lets you enjoy the hustle and bustle but gets you away at the end of the day. Very relaxing to sit on the roof top patio in the evening with a glass of wine and a fantastic sunset. Every staff member we encountered was fluent in English and very helpful.

First, the hotel was nice and the staff were wonderful. We stayed in a romantic room on the top floor with panoramic, amazing views. The room was very nice. Not so good: This was our visit to Sorrento and we were disappointed that we didn't stay in town. The hotel offers a free shuttle service with "the best" driver but, unlike other reviewer comments, it was closer to 30 mins from the time we got on the bus until we got off in town due to traffic and waiting for everyone to get on. We also spent hours waiting to be picked up b/c of the schedule set by the hotel. The first day we went into town @ 11 to shop & have lunch - we finished up after a couple of hours but the bus did not pick up until 6pm. It was a little rainy, cool, and windy during our 3 night stay which didn't help our sightseeing. The restaurant close to the hotel is okay, but after 3 weeks in Tuscany, definitely not one of my favorites and we ended up eating there 2 nights out of 3 b/c of weather. So, we liked the hotel but did not like being so far away from town.

Room Tip: 301 if you want a large room with a nice private balcony and view.
