I am starting out with our age and origin because that colors my review. The drive thru Sorrento was worse than Rome, being complicated by the hills, twist, turns and cliffs and narrow roads. The drive uphill to the apartment was an adventure on a narrow, 6 blind turn road with a "beep, beep", pull over, back up was a total Italian experience. There is a day care across the narrow street. Easier to exit or arrive when parents are not arriving and departing. The apartment was clean and light filled. The beds were very firm with insufficient blankets for the cool weather. I should have called Mina to get more. She was very easy to work with and helpful. The frying pans where in bad shape and Mina replaced them immediately, when I pointed this out. The kitchen is very tight and poorly lit and equipped (except for the new frying pans). The dinning area inside did not sit 4 comfortably. In better weather the patio would be a nice place to eat. But you don't get the patio in the picture. That one goes with the owner's apartment. We could use it for the fabulous views of the sunset, because the owner was not there.
