We were staying at the brilliant Hotel La Minerva and as we didn't feel like the hike to the main area of Capri town we were directed here by our hotel just next door. It was an unexpected delight. The service was perfect with both the owner - whom we discovered is a member of the same family as the 3 Espositos who own La Minerva - and our waiter helped us choose a simple but very well presented and cooked meal. The first course was a delicious plate of grilled vegetables and bresaiola. We then shared a superb plate of seafood pasta with grilled prawns and lobster. It was delicious and the large portions left us no room for puds. However a generous free measure of a local liqueur left us just about able to stagger back to our nearby hotel. It was a first class meal at a very reasonable price and we recommend anyone in Capri to discover this out of the way gem. Carolyn and David Sumberg
