Capri, was the only Island we visited from Sorrento and it is a must! I think it cost a euro to get in,,but the views are stunning and so worth it. The garden itself ia gorgeous, the flowers in full Bloom a really gorgeous backdrop!

This is a modest garden but a pleasant place to smell the fresh air and look at the view after the chaos of other parts of Capri when the cruise boats are in.

This a beautiful garden with amazing views. The Gardens of Augustus were included in our Capri Tour and our guide was full of information. This is a great place for photo shoots.

The garden was an afterthought because via Krupp was closed, but we were glad to be diverted. The short walk provides you with an amazing view of the island, the sea, and via Krupp from the top to the bottom (if you don't mind heights).

This small and pretty gardens offer some of the best view of the Faraglioni rocks and access to the famous ancient walk way via Krupp - which is a route leading down the hillside onto the beach front characterized by a series of hairpins - it was used by the Romans to access the sea. This garden is very popular with the tourist especially the daytrippers. Mainly for the view of the Rocks. However I have my own views on this -

The important thing about this Garden is - this is the BEST SPOT for sunset views and photography of the Faraglioni Rocks. The Rocks face west - hence the setting sun rays fall on it; giving it a nice warm glow. Go only in the evenings for that reason and the other being - all the daytrippers would be gone by then - so you practically have the gardens all to yourself plus a few others. There is really no point going during the day (esp mornings) - the sun will be in the wrong direction - it will be behind the Rocks making it dull and dark - and any photos will have overexposure problems.

So go there spend an hour or so enjoying the lovely sunset view and peaceful surroundings; its romantic, beautiful and shutterbugs' paradise.

Another tip - there is a small delightful gelato/fruit juice stall just before the entrance. Try it - its good, especially the lemonade and pomegranate juice.
