We travel through Amalfi in the middle of March. We had our first stop on Capri. I have to say, that to get to Tony's apartments is very easy. On Capri, every policemen speaks good English. No point getting a taxi. As Tony explained it to us, we got in to the bus and were at his stairs within 10 min. There is another way to get up, its funicular. But if you have a suit case or don't have GPS, it might be confusing taking 12 min walk to his place for the first time. Capri is not high heel friendly place, and its not fault of your host. Have a couple of pairs of comfortable shoes and do a lot of walking. Otherwise why would someone come to Capri on the first place, right? Right after arrival, Tony got us situated: starting around the house and then specifically with a good map of the island. He looked at my Capri's itinerary, and advised us despite of being tired to start our exploration duty right away. Otherwise we wouldn't have enough time to cover as much as we intended. It was a very good advise: we got covered a couple of trails, visited a grocery shop (also recommended by Tony) and stopped for a dinner at local restaurant. I forgot to mention, that it was very nice of Tony, to accompany us for the first 30 min and show us: a path way, store, bus stops, bank and beginning of the trail. Actually after intensive walk we felt instantly better, like we didn't have our 14 hours trip earlier this day. Since we slept behind closed doors and windows I can't comment much about noise. We heard none! The location is actually great, the views are awesome. Apartment is very nice, clean with new and very stylish kitchen. Beds are comfortable, pillows too. All over it's a super place to stay. Tony is very nice, supportive and very, very helpful guy!! I would recommend this place to everyone.
