A friend of us recommended so we went there two nights in a row trying to get a table but we had no chance. So we asked the hotel receptionist to make a reservation for a table outdoors for the next day and so she did. We arrived there on time and simultaneously with a native couple. There was only one table available outside and they asked for it. Very politely we also asked for the table - in English - which was reserved for us anyway from the day before. The owner (not sure that it was the owner but seemed so), although he checked that we had the reservation for that table and time, in front of us - not knowing that I speak Italian fluently - agreed with the native couple to sit down and turned to us and very rudely, with an ironic face told us "vattene via" (rudely go away) as if we were some kind of lowlifes! Even my husband who does not speak italian - only by the look on his face and the gestures understood how rude he was to us. He didn't apologize or anything! We said goodnight and left, it wasn't even worth discussing! Bur it was an awful behavior that does not need encouraging!
