First off, make sure your cab driver knows where he is going. There is another Decumani Le Charme or something like that and our cab driver took us there instead. Naples...some would say charming, some would say rough. Whilst the surroundings of a big part of Naples looks and feels like being in Harlem, it is generally ok. Grafitti, trash and tight dark alley ways are commonplace, however what surprises you is the sudden crowd that springs up in front of restaurants and pizza joints amongst all that. This Hotel has fresh clean linen, with velvety finishings. The curtains are quality thick black-out curtains (so remember to set our alarm clock). The floors are clean, the bed is comfortable and the toilet perfect. Everything is very modern! The outside of the hotel is not so great as you can gather from my review, but the hotel itself, I would totally recommend it! oh and of course, free wifi! The hotel is well located, being walking distance from many historical buildings. My husband and I walked from the hotel to the shopping street that led down to the port and had dinner at the Castel Del Ovo area. Good hotel, good value, would definitely recommend it.
