This hotel is perfect for exploring Centro Storico. Not all of the staff are friendly, but all are servicable. Breakfast was really good, there was a good variety to choose from. We were upgraded to a better room without an extra charge, so the room we had was just splendid.

If we would go back to Napels, we would book something closer to Via Toledo, as this would be a better location if you also want to spend some time in newer parts of the city. The hotel surroundings can seem a bit dark and empty at night.

Excellent hotel. Perfect location - quiet but close to all major sites. Beautiful rooms, and fabulous shower. Generous breakfast ,We also got complementary drinks at the hotel - peach bellini...The old man who served us in the bar was a young charming gentleman, Loved it. Didn't want to leave the air-conditioning ...Certainly we would stay there again.

My wife and I booked to stay here for 1 night as we landed in Naples in the early evening and were then travelling to Capri the next day. The hotel was delightful, very clean, very well decorated and most of all, very friendly. The old gentlemen who served us in the bar was absolutely charming and nothing was too much trouble. It was a great first night of our holiday and we wished we were staying longer at the Decumani. Highly recommended!

Very clean, comfortable and spacious room. Perfect location for sight seeing and not too far from the train station. Breakfast was hearty with cold meats, eggs, breads, fruit and great coffee. Reception team very helpful in recommending restaurants and giving directions. I would stay there again

I can't fault the room we stayed in - and we booked into one of the cheaper options. But it was spacious, had an enormous and very comfortable bed, a fabulous shower, loads of storage space, bathrobes, slippers, a safe, nice toiletries.

The reception staff were very helpful and friendly - even before we arrived - I sent an email checking on taxi prices from the airport and had a very quick and helpful response.

On checking in we received a voucher for a welcome drink in the bar - where bar staff insisting on making us a champagne cocktail (usually 10 euro each).

There was a big range of options for breakfast - cold meats, cheese, scrambled eggs, sausages, a hot pastry/omelette thing that was very tasty, pastries, yogurt, cereal, fruit - plus, of course, very nice cappuccino!

Location-wise - it was a less than 5 minutes to the main parts of historic district and about 15 minutes to Porta Nolana - the terminus for the Circumvesuviana train to Vesuvius, Herculaneum, Pompeii, Sorrento, etc. We recommend getting the train from there rather than main station at Piazza Garibaldi (next stop) as you get on before all the crowds (plus it's marginally nearer to the hotel).

What a great hotel

It is very centrally located. if you travel from the train station, take a taxi but agree the price in advance (no more than 10 Euro. don't be ripped off as we almost were).

The hotel has a great location in the center of Naples and it is in very good condition. Our room was brilliant, comfortable and quiet. We had a problem with the shower drain and we were moved immediately and without fuss to a room next door and as good as the original one. Staff were very apologetic and sweet about it.

Free Wifi and a substantial continental breakfast buffet made the visit a real success.

Definitely recommended.

This is an excellent hotel - nice location, beautiful modern rooms, nice breakfast. However, the service, when it is something other than the usual questions about directions and restaurants, is poor. We needed to be woken up at 4:30 am to catch a 6:00 am train to Rome. Night before we asked for a wake-up call, and repeated several times how important it was. Of course - there was no wake up call, and the desk clerk on duty not only did not apologize, but was quite rude telling us to look-up the tripadvisor comments about the hotel to see how good they are - totally irrelevant answer. Would we stay there again ? We would, but would make sure we have an alarm clock with us.
