I first read of this hotel in the New York Times travel section. Then I read reviews on here and thought it seemed extremely nice. I am guessing for Naples (no offense, but Naples in NOT a 5 star city) it may be nice. However, I think it is EXTREMELY over rated.
Our key card to the room never worked and we had to go back to the front desk multiple times. The TV didn't work. The bed was so uncomfortable, I could feel the bed springs on my back. Additionally, upon checkout, our room bill was 80 euros over what we had calculated it to be, and I am not a fan of sneaky charges.
The positives were that the man running the bar was very nice and kept adding small food plates to the counter for us to eat. Also, the break fast was one of the better ones we had for a hotel, although we may have been secretly charged for this which makes up the 80 euros.
Also, the neighborhood is pretty sketchy and our driver, a local, could not find this hotel ANYWHERE so map it out first.
