the location is perfect, one minute from spaccanapoli, two minutes from duomo and four from trainstation. we were recommended great places to eat (amazing pizza for 4 euro!), we were provided with all the breakfast essentials including great coffee and italian coffee and ristretto makers. the room was very cool and spacious and so was the bathroom. the bed and breakfast would be also perfect to rent by three couples(families as an apartment, as it has a great kitchen and dining area, terrace and balconies overlooking the street, where men from the surrounding houses play cards and you hear opera sounds from the open windows (seriously)! we loved naples and we loved i colori di napoli, which was just as warm as the whole city and its people. it may sound exaggerated, but it really was one of our favourite places in the whole world!

Room Tip: the room right by the kitchen has no access to the shared terrace, but the kitchen has balconies, so it doesn´t really matter much i guess. the windows are quite sound proof in either one.

We had traveled all over Italy and Naples was our last destination. I was a bit shocked when I reached the city, it was crowded and dirty. We had rented a car so, when we reached the street of the B&B, I was a bit worried. The buildings looked, old and dirty. But it turned out to be safe. The owners live in the same apartment building on the top floor and the B&B is on the first floor. Pino's sons helped us with our luggage and helped us find parking. With the little English they spoke, they showed us around the room, explained everything about breakfast and what places were nearby to visit.

This is a quaint, safe and small place. Great if you just need to spend a couple nights and go to Capri, Ischia, Sorrento from here. After visiting Rome, Venice, Florence, I found Naples to be the dirtiest.

Room Tip: We had the first room to the left. It was a triple, very clean and nice bathroom.

We had a very pleasant stay in Napoli due to the profusion of things to do and experience, the kindeness of the Neapolitans we had the pleasure to meet in particular Pino and his family who made as feel at home in their pleasant appartment perfectly situated in the historical center of Napoli only a few minutes away from the harbour and the railway station, the via Duomo and the via Tribunali. Excellent Pizza and ice cream around the corner.

Centrally located, this B&B is a short walk to the Spaccanapoli (where the main sights are) and the Duomo. It is also within walking distance to the ferry terminals for nearby islands like Capri, Ischia etc. We spent six days in Napoli and we walked everywhere. When we emailed the owner Pino, we had asked for a room in the B&B but were informed that only the apartment was available. We took it and it was the right decision.
The apartment block is owned by Pino and his family. The first floor is the B&B and the family resides on the second floor. The top floor is the apartment with its own gate and terrace. We felt really safe there, and we left most of our money and passport in the apartment so we could be more relaxed when we were out and about (btw, we are two females so safety was one of our main concerns). Pino's family was very hospitable, especially his father, always checking with us if everything was ok. If we needed anything, we could simply knocked on their door. The neighbours were also very friendly and made us feel really welcomed.
The apartment has an equipped kitchen and a regular-sized fridge so it's great for those who like to cook and eat in. There is also a supermarket just round the corner from the apartment so it really was very convenient. But the food in Napoli was just too good so we didn't get to make full use of the kitchen. (By the way, the B&B is just a stone's throw from da Michele, the renowned pizzeria.) The apartment is clean, the bathroom and bedroom are spacious and the terrace is great for drying our laundry.
We had a wonderful time in Napoli. The food is great, the churches are beautiful and diverse in style, the Capodimonte museum is world-class, the people are open and friendly. I can't say enough good things about the place. It has become my favorite Italian/European city and I will definitely go back. And I highly recommend I Colori di Napoli as the place to stay.

A special place located in the very heart of the historical centre of Naples.
The apartment is clean and well partitioned. It has got a kitchen, a bathroom, two bedrooms and an exquisite terrazzo (terrace) where one can spend delightfully colourful moments and enjoy the fragrance/ get the taste / take the pulse of the real Naples. The only inconvenience (if it can be deemed as such) is mainly related to the fact that one has to go up a few flights of stairs - there’s no elevator in the three-storied building. (But if you come to think of it, a bit of physical exercise won’t hurt anyone!) The perfect place where one can start their initiation into the mysteries of this miraculous city.
The hosts (Pino and his father, in particular) are nice hospitable people and they are more than happy to provide all the information a foreigner needs to get around Naples.
Another great advantage associated with this location is that a DECO supermarket is within easy walking distance (actually, a one minute walk!). You can find there all that you heart desires ... at reasonable prices!
