Italian food is about taking simple fresh ingredients and putting them together in a creative way to make a delicious meal. This restaurant did not pass that test. We ordered the fiore di zucca and they were heavily fried and I think had been frozen (still in part cold inside) -- not impressed. Heavy salt on the involtini and uninteresting flavor to the meat. Salad was also heavily salted when the salt should have just come from the parmesan cheese. My guess is that their very large menu forces them into pre-preparation and freezing of food. It is a cute, clean place -- just needs to focus on fresh simple ingredients.
